Overall the experience was great. Justyna was simply amazing, super positive, supportive and caring. I felt very looked after. Where things could be improved - better communication in terms of the order of surgery. My expectations was for a 2:30 surgery, but instead I had to wait for an elongated period without anyone communicating with me or my wife. I don’t think anyone offered my wife a cup of tea or other which would have been nice. Post surgery in the recovery room, the ladies began to inclune the bed before I was ready and to the point where I experienced a lot of pain at the surgery point. I found this very distressing and was not needed. A more progressive approach to inclining the bed would have been much better and I could have let them know I was at my comfortable limit, as opposed to being pushed passed it and into pain. I believe as a result of this pain, they gave me a heavy dose of morphine which kept me groggy for a long period into the evening. I would question if this was needed if they hadn’t pushed me past my comfortable limits.

I had a total hip replacement about 6 months ago after years of pain and stiffness in my hip joint. As I am only in my late 40s I was reluctant to get it replaced at a relatively young age. Since the procedure I have felt like a different person and the pain that I had went immediately after the operation. I have just had a routine 6 month checkup with Mr Malek and the hip has healed nicely. I chose Mr Malek due to his experience with minimal evasive hip surgery and from the initial consultation through to the operation and aftercare I have been highly impressed with the overall process and his work. He is very approchable and helpful and made me feel I was in good hands. Furthermore, there has been little damage to the affected area which has allowed me to recover very quickly. Eventually I will need my other hip replacing and I will be returning to Mr Malek for this procedure to.

Daleswood Health is like a breath of fresh air in the midst of health services in the UK. My GP tries to the best they can but frankly they just cannot be flexible and I'd spend visits trying to to fit in their calendar, leaving me waiting for a rushed 10 minute appointment only to then refer me somewhere else. Something had to change. I'm lucky enough that I can spend a little to get a great service and Daleswood Health really deliver exceptional service. My recent visit was for a mole removal. In and out within 50 minutes and the mole had been removed, fantastic service from Dr Oliver Denton and also not forgetting Mary on reception. So glad I've found them. Dr Charlotte Frise is an excellent doctor. Despite the multiple complications I had, she had time for me even when she was off duty. She saw me through until I sailed through. I was never afraid at any point even when I couldn’t breathe and had oxygen of 80% on room air, I was motivated. Her smile was always soothing and reassuring, it felt like family. She treats patients like family and it’s heartwarming in difficult times. I begin to tear up when I express how I feel about the care she gave me. Am very impressed and grateful for her services. Mr Gordon successfully completed a Trans Urethral Resection of the Ejaculatory Ducts (TIRED) procedure. This has significantly improved my previous symptoms of pelvic pain and prostatitis caused by swelling of the seminal vesicles. . He explained very clearly the rationale for the procedure, what would be involved and the risks. The follow up and treatment post operation was excellent. He was very responsive to queries, and his secretary was hugely helpful and responsive too. I was confident that I was in very capable hands of a leading expert in his field.

Everything was good but the house keeper was rude . when i came to the building i don’t know which button to press and there was board (if you have any issue you can contact house keeper . I press that button and i told him i have medical appointment he was like do you appointment with me ,he was so rude . He could simply say that press number 15 thats it . But my experience with doctors and other staff was excellent.

I had a wonderful day at the Lister Hospital being looked after beautifully before and after my hip procedure. Janette, my nurse couldn't have been friendlier or more reassuring, the food I had was very good and fresh, and then to have a little sprinkling of reflexology on the 'menu' was icing on the cake! All in all a great experience.
