An Oncologist is a medical professional who specialises in the diagnosis and treatment of all types of Cancers. There are three main fields of Oncology, Medical Oncology, Surgical Oncology and Radiation Oncology.

Clinical Oncologists are qualified to administer radiation therapy, whilst Medical Oncologists administer Chemotherapy, Endocrine (hormonal) Therapy or Immunotherapy if suitable.
