Dr Rakesh Anand is a Consultant Dermatologist and Mohs Surgeon at Guy's and St Thomas' Hospital as well as an Honorary Consultant at Moorfields Eye Hospital. He practises privately at the Lister Hospital Chelsea Outpatient Centre where he specialises in skin cancer and skin surgery.
Dr Anand has expertise in all aspects of general and cosmetic dermatology. He attended University College London Medical School before completing specialty training at renowned hospitals in London, including the Royal London and the Royal Free. He then went on to undertake a prestigious fellowship in Mohs micrographic and laser surgery at the St John's Institute of Dermatology.
Dr Anand has been recognised by both colleagues and patients for his attention to detail in providing the best patient care possible. He is also known for his sensitive and approachable manner. I had an excellent consultation with Dr Anand. He was so thorough and reassuring when I visited him to discuss an issue with my skin. He made me feel completely at ease and has a fantastic bedside manner. He is incredibly knowledgable and I wouldn’t hesitate to see him again in the future!

He operated on me to remove basal skin cancer on my nose which involved a 7cm cut. He did this with such expertise, that within a few weeks it was incredibly hard to see it. Throughout my treatment he was patient, kind and extremely good ar explaining what he was going to do. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

I cannot speak highly enough about Dr Anand, he is highly professional, kind, compassionate and a brilliant surgeon. I was so frightened about my BCC treatment being on my face but his skilful surgery has ensured the best outcome possible. I would highly recommend him and would not hesitate to contact him if I have any other concerns.

I found Dr Anand to be the utmost professional. I was referred with what was potentially skin cancer and was understandably worried and upset . Dr Anand examined me thoroughly and found skin changes due to sun damage but thankfully no cancer . He was calm and reassuring

My experience with Dr Anand was excellent and he immediately made me feel at ease with his kind and warm demeanour, taking his time to explain what he would be doing and how things would proceed. I was impressed with how gently he performed the treatment and made sure I was comfortable afterwards.
