One year check up for my replacement right-hand side hip. Very pleased all went brilliantly and am doing well, no pain either.
My visit was a follow up appointment post surgery which had gone very well. The visit was friendly, efficient and clearly answered my questions.
Mr Ranjith explained in detail my hip operation - he was very professional and answered all my questions fully
I can't thank Mr Ranjith and his team enough for getting me through a TKR! I was terrified of the surgery ahead of me but from coming through the hospital door until being discharged the following day, everyone were so kind, caring and very respectful of my feelings, they were all very professional throughout for which I thank you so very much!
Mr Ranjith was very professional and a great surgeon- he explained everything in detail and took so much time to explain
My experience on having my left knee parshal replacement done last july 13 th and the run up to it has been excellent. I have been informed all the way a long by Mr Ravindran Ranjith and his team which made any anxiety l had away. The operation was a great success due to the surgeons skill and the after care l received. I can now walk for miles ,no pain fantastic. I would recommend it to anyone. But you do have to play your part and do all the exercises they give you to do even if they hurt a little at first.
Excellent result, exercise after operation is very important.
Besides confirming I had not torn my Achilles tendon the Specialist gave me virtually no information. He sent me for an MRI which I now hear from my brother a retired Radiologist and the physios should really have been a ultrasound X-ray which is the gold standard for tendon and muscle injuries. I was not told what exercise to do, whether I should rest the leg. nothing I am very disappointed. they are quick to charge but just not up to scratch to be honest

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback which is valuable as it helps us improve. I am sorry to hear you were dissatisfied with the consultation. We took your history, did a clinical examination and you were advised you had achilles tendinopathy which is inflammation of the tendon. We discussed that the tendon was intact and functional. We had a discussion about appropriate footwear, passive stretching exercises and you were advised to continue your physiotherapy pending imaging study results. You would also have subsequently received a copy of my clinic letter detailing all this. When we discussed the plan to do a MRI scan you did not raise any objections. you subsequently contacted my secretary to say that you would have preferred an ultrasound! Your assertion that ultrasound is the 'gold standard' is debatable. After you contacted my secretary I had through my secretary shared three academic papers that DID NOT support your assertion of the superiority of ultrasound over MRI scan for achilles tendinopathy. I further explained that I personally preferred MRI scan as it is not as technician dependent as ultrasound and also provides images which I can review and analyse myself. Your further treatment options were meant to be discussed at the review meeting to discuss your MRI findings. I hope this answers some of your concerns and if you wished to have a further discussion I would invite you to organize that by contacting my secretary.
A absolutely First class surgeon I would recommend to everyone. He changed my life for the better. I cannot thank him enough.
While experience was excellent, being well informed and looked after before, during and after my operation. Facilities where top notch
