I have had a Morton’s Neuroma for many years, which gradually worsened to the point that it severely impacted my daily life. After seeing a consultant in my hometown of Birmingham, I decided to research other options and came across Mr Julian Pavier, so I made an appointment to see him in Nottingham. Julian Pavier was truly fantastic. During the initial consultation, he identified a second, previously undiagnosed neuroma. Mr Pavier was extremely knowledgeable, and I had complete confidence that he was the right person to carry out the surgery. Following an MRI, it was decided that one large neuroma would be removed through an incision on the bottom of my foot, and a second, smaller neuroma would be decompressed through an incision on the top of my foot. I felt very reassured that this was the right decision. The surgery was carried out under local anaesthetic, and I was able to travel home later the same day. I followed all of Mr Pavier’s advice regarding recovery and rehabilitation. I am now around eight weeks post-op and absolutely over the moon with the outcome. I can walk normally without pain and wear normal footwear for the first time in years. I am gradually building up my walking and have even signed up to run a half marathon in a few months’ time — something that felt completely unattainable for many years. I couldn’t recommend Mr Pavier more highly. His knowledge, expertise, care, and skill when it comes to Morton’s Neuroma are truly second to none. I’m so glad I travelled to Nottingham to have my surgery with him.

The Clinic was a little difficult to find but once there the staff were excellent and very efficient. My appointment was on time and the waiting area was warm and comfortable. The consultant was very helpful and explained everything and answered all my questions. I wasn’t rushed or meant to feel unimportant. The nurse was helpful and reassuring. There had been an administrative problem that I had mentioned to the lady on arrival and that was completely sorted out by the time I left which was extremely efficient. I have consulted with Dr Kandan several times since my bypass surgery, and have always found him to be courteous, knowledgeable and helpful in assisting with post surgery symptoms. He took time to listen and discuss various aspects of my cardio recovery, and took on board my comments and concerns, rather than simply issuing another prescription. He did amazing work in liaising with my GP in relation to cholesterol levels and my intolerance to certain statins, and that is now in a much better place thanks to him.

I have recently completely recovered from a hip replacement operation and found the experience excellent from the original consultation to the successful recovery . My expectations were exceeded in every way from being able to complete my first steps 5 hours after surgery and being discharged from hospital within 24 hours. Rang Deben healthcare and Dr able to see me within half an hour. Dr was very thorough and carried out a small procedure. Issued a prescription for antibiotic cream.
