it's the Grosvenor Cleveland First experience Anweek today Monday i went for a blood test and Ultrasound both appointments were on time. The next day i had an appointment by phone some sort of registration ( by the way this was the 10!th registration ) Our life doesn't revolve over your hospital so many registrations what for and you still got it wrong it's frustrating and monotonous.) I would try and find an easier way for patients . let's go back to the phone registration the gentlemen tells me i have to do a blood test and a swap, i told him i was there yesterday and i did a blood test he told me that i have to go back as they forgot to do another blood test and the swap. Forgot i found that very unprofessional so on Wednesday i went back when the nurse took me she took me to the room did the blood test and another nurse came for then swap i was told i need to go and do and ECG a test that i wasn't aware of i became stressed and furious i turned to the poor nurse and said to her i am not doing an ECG and to cancel it. i found the whole situation unprofessional. Thursday arriving to the hospital' early in the morning' once again registration and then a Porter came and took' us to the room. a few minutes later the nurse came and of course another registeatiôn Room nice but no cupboard to hang your coat. it rains a lot in England we wear coats .My surgeon came and explained the procedure and few minutes after he left went down for the operation all well to this point Eventually i was up and nurses came to check all was well Food Menu is very unhealthy no salad no fruit juices i would suggest you get a dietician it's shameful your Menu I was discharged by Professor Hakim at around 3:30' the nurse went to get the discharge letter and told me that i have an MRI at five i told her to cancel it no need for MRI after the operation When i came to leave nobody told me what i had to do was given some plasters and i asked if i could have a shower n was told not today tomorrow i went to the desk on my way out to query an extra bill i wanted to know what it was for and he couldn't tell me i said where is your account department and he said we don't have one on the premises this huge hospital doesn't have an account department in short when i know what its for i will not pay even'. on my chart why Good luck you have a very nice hospital but very stressing and there is a lot of' things you have to work don't think it will be my first choice

For anyone suffering from sleep apnea, as I was, or dealing with any of the conditions treated by your specialists, I could not recommend HSSH and Mr Luke Cascarini more highly. Dr. Izquierdo was welcoming and professional, setting me at ease from the very outset of the appointment. I had a concern that it had been a while since the incident that had caused me to need to visit a doctor, and as such, I thought explanation and initial diagnosis would be more difficult. Dr. Izquierdo, however, was accomplished at not making me feel like that and the technique he used to explore my view of my full health and lifestyle enabled us both to understand not only the injury but how I had reached this point in the context of a multifaceted life. Even before we reached the point of diagnosis for the actual injury I felt the visit had been beneficial. Dr. Izquierdo's proposal for further investigations was exactly what I had hoped for and set me on the path to focused and appropriate further treatment.

Mr George Spink

I had a PLIF operation with additional decompression by neurosurgeon George Spink at Spire Anlaby .. Autumn 2025. George was professional throughout the whole process. I had plenty of unpressured opportunities to ask questions and recieved clear answers without too much medical jargon. This gave me confidence in Mr Spinks long experience for what was a major surgery with good explanation of the risks involved. Following the operation whilst in recovery Mr Spink took time to talk personally with my wife and reassure her the procedure went well. The operation was very successful and I mobilised the next day. In my experience the Spire Anlaby (Hull) hospital team can be trusted to provide a very professional service. I can therefore wholeheartedly recommend George for complex spinal procedures.

All members of the team are friendly and welcoming. They have personality and engage with patients. Everything appears to be well organised and runs smoothly. The clinic is clean and fresh. All instructions/requests are explained in a helpful clear manner and staff are attentive and go the extra mile. All staff impress as being very caring. During a recent stay for surgery, everyone with whom I came into contact was very kind and helpful. I felt like I was in very safe hands.

I had a facial mole removed by Dr Kathryn at the Real You Clinic and it went really well and healed up without a scar. The whole process was very straightforward and her bookings clerk was super efficient. I recommend Dr Kathryn as she is professional and experienced with a lovely manner and a beautiful clean clinic.Although I live locally to the clinic I would travel here as the service I received was excellent.

Ground floor reception of the Shard had no record of my appointment and were reluctant to let me in the elevator. 6th floor has 3 receptions which is confusing. First one sent me to second one (Tower?) which also had no record for my appointment. They also said they have 3 different Andrew Davies in their lists so they struggled to decide what to do with me. Eventually I was sent to the right place.

Dr Richard Hull

Dr Hull was extremely helpful in explaining fully the implications of my CKD. He went over in detail all of my results and I now feel reassured and able to manage it. I would not hesitate to recommend his services and I will continue to liaise with him as my condition progresses and am extremely grateful I found him, I was called immediately I raised concerns and that is so reassuring.
