He completed his PhD in Clinical Neurology at the University College London Institute of Neurology in 2018. His research interest is in development of novel therapeutics for Parkinson's disease and other neurodegenerative conditions.
He is a full-time Consultant Neurologist in the NHS in the UK, holding substantive posts at both St George's University Hospital in London, and Frimley Park Hospital in Surrey. He consults on the breadth of general neurological problems such as headaches and seizures and has subspecialist expertise in the management of Parkinson's disease, tremors, movement disorders and neurodegenerative conditions.

I had a virtual consultation with Dr Gratwicke after having issues finding a neurologist that I could see locally in Scotland . He made me feel at ease instantly and had a lovely manner . I found him to listen intently to everything I said and take it all on board . He advised of his opinion and why he thought that along with what tests we would need to do to confirm this. He is extremely knowledgeable and very informative, breaking things down perfectly so that I could understand and not ‘talking doctor ‘ as others have done in the past . I could not recommend him enough .
