Dr Ravi Rajakariar, Lead Clinician and Network Director in Renal Medicine, is currently working at St Bart's London NHS Trust. He also sees patients in several top-quality private clinics across London. He is highly experienced in the treatment and diagnosis of a broad range of renal diseases including transplantation, haemodialysis, chronic and diabetic kidney disease, glomerular disease, and lupus nephritis. Dr Ravi Rajakariar graduated with Honours in 1995 from Leicester Medical School, before going on to do specialist training in nephrology. He underwent this specialist training at the prestigious Renal Unit in St Bart's Hospital.

Dr Rajakariar is a passionate educator, who is heavily involved in training the next generation of doctors and renal specialists. He is also an active member of the research community and has published numerous medical papers. He is also involved in a multi-centre clinical trial examining therapeutics for the treatment of systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE).
