Dr Shazia Malik

Dr. Malik is one of the best doctors I have seen in my whole life. She is very experienced and provides the best advice. Her calm nature really helped me during my high-risk pregnancy. I had a C-section, and anyone who saw my stitches complimented her work. I'm truly blessed to have a doctor like Dr. Malik during my pregnancy journey.

My teenage daughter and I had an excellent experience with Dr Malik. Her expertise and her bedside manner were simply outstanding. She really went above and beyond. Huge thanks and appreciation.

Dr Malik is a born gynaecologist:- She gives you the time to ask all of the questions that you want, considers her answers carefully, and then advises you both thoroughly and fully. She is experienced, careful, considerate and entirely thorough. If Dr Malik has to physically examine you, then you can be confident that you will experience absolutely no pain or discomfort. (This is 'light years' away from the all too common rough treatment that you can experience at the hands of other practitioners who call themselves qualified, but you really have to wonder why). I highly recommend Dr Malik and she will always be my first port of call for any women's issues.

My experience with Dr Malik has been consistently exceptional. I would give more than five stars if I could. She has a remarkable ability to put me at ease, taking the time to help me relax and even guiding me on how to do so myself. She always works at my pace, ensuring I feel comfortable throughout every step. Her explanations are clear and thorough, and she approaches her work with genuine compassion and deep knowledge. Dr Malik is a trusted consultant for my other family members, and she always goes above and beyond to provide the best care for everyone.

I found Dr. Malik when I was in a very difficult time of my life. She was the one available on the same day I needed a gynae consult so I went ahead, and I never looked back. Dr. Malik was very compassionate and empathetic of what I went through. I didn't feel rushed and she took time to explain everything in detail. She also considered my partner who was with me in the planning process. She also looked after me very holistically, taking consideration not only the medical needs, but what she also considered what I was going through emotionally and mentally. Miss Shazia Malik was my named Consultant in the event of complications during my pregnancy and intrapartum care. My primary care was provided by the excellent midwife-led team at the Portland Hospital. Miss Malik reached out to introduce herself and offered lots of helpful advice and tips as I prepared for childbirth. Her proactive communication ensured I felt supported and informed during my pregnancy. After a very positive vaginal delivery, I experienced a retained placenta that required removal in the operating theater. Miss Malik arrived late at night and provided care that was calm, kind, and reassuring. Her presence at that critical moment was invaluable to me. The removal of my placenta proved to be a complex procedure. Thanks to Miss Malik’s expert clinical judgment, I received the appropriate care necessary for my recovery. She not only coordinated my ongoing treatment but also ensured that I was referred to excellent clinicians to further support my progress. Miss Malik treated me with a level of compassion and personal attention that made me feel so safe and cared for. She dedicated significant personal time to support and coordinate my care, maintaining regular communication for months after my son’s birth to monitor my recovery. Her commitment to patient well-being was truly exceptional. Miss Malik personally performed my suturing, which was another complex aspect of my care. Dr Malik has been the most professional, skilled and compassionate Dr I could ever have wished for. The attention to detail and level of care I have received has been second to none. She carried out a complex c-section on me with incredible results, saving me and my baby. Plus, she has given me an extremely neat scar which I am very happy about. It has been remarked on by every medical professional who has seen it since. I couldn't be any more grateful or recommend her any more highly.
