I received my care at the Spire Regency Hospital in Macclesfield following a unicompartmental knee replacement in November 2025, and the standard of care throughout was excellent. From recovery through to the ward, the post-operative care was consistently compassionate, professional, and attentive. Every member of staff I encountered — from nursing and medical staff to healthcare assistants, physiotherapists, and catering staff — was kind, supportive, and clearly committed to patient wellbeing. Although I didn’t manage to note everyone’s name, those I did were outstanding and a real credit to the hospital. The physiotherapy support was particularly impressive. My post-operative physiotherapist understood exactly how far my knee should be bending at each stage and struck the right balance between encouragement and reassurance. This helped me overcome the understandable mental barriers around pain and guarding, and I was given a clear and structured recovery exercise plan to follow at home.

Happily all went very well and his advice on the way forward is clear. From both Mr. and Mrs. Bahl I received very clear feedback on our consultations and test results and the way forward. In both their hands I have received an excellent and very professional service which has guided me through life issues which were distressing and embarrassing and this has been achieved leaving me feeling well, happy, reassured and once again part of the human race. The waiting area had few chairs and not enough for the people waiting. The people around there that gave me paperwork and told me where to wait, were polite and helpful. The appointment with the consultant was really distressing, I couldn't ask questions and didn't discussed with me the plan, just set up steps without getting me involved on her treatment plan. This experience was very negative from what I expected when you go to a professional asking for advice and reviewing if your body is working well. I sought a second opinion from Mr Tailor, because I had a large ovarian cyst on my left ovary. Mr Tailor was very reassuring and took time to fully explain my condition and my best options for treatment. He recommended that I have a bilateral Salpingo-oophorectomy. Mr Tailor carried out the procedure (via keyhole surgery) and I made a good recovery with very little discomfort. Mr Tailor was very kind and had an excellent bedside manner. It was very easy to communicate with him via WhatsApp or email and he kept me fully informed throughout my treatment. I would not hesitate to recommend him.

I'm very pleased with my visit. I arrived late due to work commitments and couldn't to get through to the hospital to let them know. Mr Odak was waiting for me (I was the last patient of the day) and was very kind and friendly throughout the appointment. I got my diagnosis and was happy with the level of information provided. My condition was explained to me very clearly, and so were my treatment options. Mr Odak booked me in for a steroid injection, which will hopefully solve my issues. Turnaround between initial consultation and injection has been very quick (just a couple of weeks).

The nursing team were attentive and supportive, helping manage pain and early mobility. The hospital was clean, calm, and well‑organised, making the whole process smooth from admission to discharge. Overall, I felt well looked after and confident in my recovery, and I would highly recommend The Park Hospital for joint replacement surgery.

Very happy to see Miss Fraser 6 weeks after my fascial sling which has completely stopped my stress incontinence . Mr Patel had the results of my recent x-ray and MRI. He showed me them on-screen and interpreted them. He advised me of things I should do to maintain mobility but did not think the arthritis, though painful, was of sufficient severity to merit any surgical or medical interventions. His manner was entirely professional and helpful. He made clear I could come back within 6 months if things deteriorated. I could contact reception. I left on time and very satisfied with the prognosis and advice.
