I recently had surgery with Mr Kirana Arambage , and I cannot speak highly enough of the care I received. From the very first consultation, he was exceptionally kind, patient, and informative. He took the time to explain every step of the procedure in advance, making sure I fully understood what he would be doing and why. That clarity and reassurance made an enormous difference to my confidence going into surgery. The aftercare was equally superb. He explained what was happening at each stage of my recovery, what the expected outcomes were, and made me feel genuinely supported throughout. His communication was outstanding, and I always felt listened to and cared for. The recovery itself has been the best I’ve ever experienced, and the improvement to my quality of life has been remarkable. I am incredibly grateful for his skill, expertise, and compassion. He is truly exceptional at what he does, and I feel so fortunate to have been under his care. Thank you so much for helping me, for fixing the problem that had affected me for so long, and for doing it with such professionalism and kindness. He is an amazing consultant and I couldn’t recommend him more highly.

Overall it went well. Manon has a very good communication, fast, clear and efficient. But when she was away, there were issues... These were the problems we've faced when she was away. On our first attempt, we got the results in 3 steps : - email with no attachment - then attachment without password - then we finally could see the result When you're awaiting the result badly, that really gets on your nerves! Then the biggest issue : on our second attempt, we didn't get an email telling us if we should start the triggering drug. We had to do researches ourselves, and gambling if we should to take it or not. We decided to take it, and we were right. To learn on the next day thatt Manon's substitute wrote the email, but did no send it; it was still draft. Great, almost a full cycle lost, with the expenses going with it!!! You definitely need more employees like Manon.

Mr Wagh is a lovely gentleman. He explained clearly what my issues are, and his proposed treatment. This did not include surgery, which would have been in his financial interests and which had been recommended previously; and he explained very clearly why it was not the best course of action. The treatment he suggested is easily achievable without expensive assistance, and does feel like the best course of action even though I went into the consultation convinced I needed to go under the knife. I am very impressed with his bedside manner, ability to clearly explain the pro's and con's of all available options, and his recommending the best course of action for me, rather than including his own interests which we know from the recent news is not always the case.

I saw my dentist and hygienist. My dentist, Mrs Patel, gave a very thorough examination for a 6 monthly check., which was easy and painless. . An ex ray followed , which was also painless. Mrs Patel is a highly experienced dentist, who works with precision and care, which gives me great confidence in whatever task she undertakes, on my teeth. Martyna is a highly skilled Hygienist, She is well prepared for my visits, having read the notes from Mrs Patel. They work together as an excellent team. The treatment is always efficient and painless. I’m always pleased to leave I with stunning and shining teeth. Thank you both for the care and attention you always give me, and it is a pleasure to see you both.

I came to see Dr Agarwal for a second opinion having been denied cataract surgery elsewhere. He tested every part of my vision, checked all aspects of eye health and then very kindly explained that I did in fact need cataract surgery. All his explanations were clear, easy to follow and delivered kindly and warmly. Cataract surgery on both eyes was done within a couple of weeks. The whole experience was very patient centred. Lots of reassurance from all members of the team and a surprisingly stress free experience. At a follow up appointment three days later Dr Agarwal was warm and genuinely delighted to show me the massive improvements to my eyesight.

My experience at the McIndoe centre was incredible. Throughout my surgery and stay the entire team were incredibly kind and caring. I was given plenty of reassurance prior to my surgery, everyone involved during my surgery was incredibly professional and the aftercare following my surgery was incredible. All of my nurses were incredibly kind and helpful and made the process so much easier. I had a great private room and bathroom, and the food was also great! Cannot recommend the McIndoe centre enough, they will be my first choice should I have any more procedures in future

Dr Tsui Chin Ling

I’m so glad I decided to go private and saw Dr Ling. I was suffering with a bad flare up of Eczema which completely took over 50% of my body and tried steroid cream and lots of emollient with no improvements. Once I saw Dr Ling she prescribed me a steroid cream which GP had not tried and immediately after a week I noticed improvement and after a month the rash had cleared. She also referred me for light therapy with NHS which I have already started. She was friendly, helpful and understanding. My experience was 5*. Thank you Dr Tsui chin Ling.

I was struggling with a recent knee injury during marathon training for London 2026. I had been recommended by a friend to try physio at PhysioJack as they were very sports and strength and conditioning focused. I had a great experience from start to finish, and built my running up to now where I’m running 4 days a week. Nick also built me a Running Strength Plan to (hopefully) keep me injury free for the rest of my marathon block. I’d highly recommend PhysioJack for all injuries, especially those aiming for high level sports activities!

Mr Spiteri Cornish was extremely professional throughout His explanation of the options and the procedure was very clear and everything he did was with consideration to me as a patient. The procedure was extremely quick and relaxed throughout potentially as everything Mr Spiteri Cornish did seemed to be aimed at putting me at ease. The follow up appointments were arranged promptly and in the first case was brought forward to satisfy a concern of mine post operation, which turned out to be nothing to worry about

Everything went ok but if I had one criticism it would be I felt that the surgical area was very busy and needed more nurses . I was left in my room with no one coming in for quite a long time and although offered a coffee after the procedure I eventually had to ring my bell and a Dr came and brought me a coffee . Luckily I am not a nervous patient but if I had been there wasn’t enough contact with nursing staff . They’d appear and say they were going to do something and then disappear and not come back .

Dr Austin was very professional as well as being friendly and open and easy to engage with. He took a thorough history and did a full examination before discussing his diagnosis and proposed treatment plan with me. I was confident of his medical expertise and really appreciated his manner. It was only a 15 minute consultation but at no stage did I feel rushed or that more time was needed. Overall I was very satisfied with the experience and would thoroughly recommend.

I was very impressed by every aspect of my recent time spent at St Joseph's the staff were all friendly and helpful everything was so clean The surgeon and Anesthetist explained everything very clearly enabling me to feel at ease about my operation. Communication with me from booking the initial consultation to pre admission check to the day of the surgery was excellent enabling everything to run smoothly.

We had time to fully discuss my condition. Mr Shergill explained the options available and the risk/benefit assessment of each. We came to a mutually agreed decision. He explained the specific potential complications of the procedure. Mr Shergill’s manner was helpful and polite and not at all patronising. I had ample opportunity to ask any questions. Overall a pleasant consultation.

I received shoulder surgery and was able to be discharged the same day. All of the nursing staff were friendly and informative, the physio treatment and advice was informative. All the staff I came across were very friendly. I especially enjoyed the roast dinner which was hot when served (a new experience). I would highly recommend Mr Khan and the London Independent hospital.

The Horder Centre

I cannot praise the Horder Centre highly enough; the quality of the care and staff are beyond compare, always someone around to look after you, operation itself seems to have been excellent (four and a half weeks so far). This is the second hip I have had replaced here, the first was completely recovered in a couple of months, so anticipate something similar this time.
