I have been Chalhoub's patient for a decade. I have never met another clinician who is so accomplished in knowledge and expertise, but who also listens to his patients closely with insight and understanding. My personal experience of endometriosis is that it is linked with other inflammatory conditions that impact my quality of life. Mr Chalhoub has a rare understanding of how distressful it is to live with a chronic illness while trying to live a fulfilling life. He acknowledges the connections between symptoms and conditions, where patients often end up in medical silos that fail to join up the dots. He is patient and compassionate, and provides the safest, most expert care when surgery is required (I have had three surgeries with him in total). All of my communications with his clinic, including with Sarah, the practice manager, have been warm, supportive and deeply respectful. Advocating for outstanding patient care so that we can live fulfilling and healthy lives is the guiding ethos of Mr. Chalhoub's practice. There were no delays in communication at any stage of my consultation, and I was kept fully informed of all updates. This practice is the gold standard of how patient care should be provided across all healthcare departments. I cannot recommend highly enough.

I had my first consultant appointment yesterday, regarding a hernia condition that was flagged by an NHS consultant earlier this year. I saw Dr Richard Novell. In the lead-up to the appointment, I had managed to get the referral paperwork, but no scan imagery. On meeting Dr Novell, he informed me that scans were useless anyway for Hernia diagnosis, and he then proceeded to examine me. After this, he told me that I didn’t have a hernia, when I asked about the fact that another specialist had examined me and thought differently, he agreed that doctors tend to give different answers. My issue, is not that he dosen’t agree with another consultants opinion (as well as the person who conducted Ultrasound) but that I am currently in pain, which is harming the quality of my life, and when asked about next steps to resolve this, he had nothing to offer, when pushed he offered to speak to a colleage for a second opinion. So in terms of empathy, it's pretty frustrating, and I have to be honest, it's a complete waste of time from my perspective.

A little concerned as to what seems to be a deterioration in standards. - my temperature was checked with an ear thermometer that didn't have a removal cap for hygiene so does this mean it's used in each patients ears? I did not see the deodorant change the cap or discard anything, just picked it up from the table. - my ultrasound scan felt completely rushed. The doctor kept looking at his watch through out my appointment. The machine was supposedly heating up and the doctor did no ask me to turn in the positions to check the organs we needed to see. - I was prescribed medication that can easily be purchased at any pharmacy and more cost affective to purchase without prescription - there is no where near enough privacy in the appointment rooms and the waiting area. It's quiet and I could hear almost the entire conversation of other patients. - I should have been offered a full urine test based on my blood results - over not the experience I've had before. Really disappointed.

I visited Rohan due to having had chest pains for approximately a week and wanted to get an expert opinion. The reason I chose to see Rohan is because back in 2023 I was discharged by our local A&E having been told I had indigestion. I saw Rohan the following week and his diligence led to the discovery of a blocked left anterior descending artery and him fitting a stent. Because of this, Rohan is the person I trust the most with anything heart related and this was the usual positive experience with him taking the time to gather relevant information before discussing what the potential issue could be and any required/possible treatment paths. I may not have been here to write this review were it not for him so as far as I'm concerned there's none better.

I agree the new pod waiting areas for day procedures helps with keeping everything moving smoother however waiting in a small pod (no TV) and a small thin plastic bag to place my clothing and footwear was not impressive! Thankfully I had left my winter coat when I was dropped off otherwise it would not have fitted into the flimsily plastic bag. I also had to ask for a separate bag so my shoes were not squashed on top of my clothes. Environmentally there needs to be a better system. If my surgical gowns can be washed and reused then there should be a more appropriate method to store patients basic clothing. Apart from the embarrassing plastic bag I can’t fault the staff who are always amazing and super supportive

they were very considerate considering I was terrified as once before I had to press the button. I couldn’t go through with it and I had to go to an open scanner as they were about to place me through. I had to stop them. They gave me time to recompose and got me to look backwards and upwards and out through the exposed end and that made the whole experience different can’t tell you how relieved I am to get through that. I’m highly claustrophobic so yes, the experience was a positive one.

Our baby girl was delivered at the Fitzrovia. We were supported by the amazing Dr. Chawla and a highly competent team of midwives. We felt cared for by the midwives throughout the delivery, especially Lesley, Chrissy and our anaesthetist John, and throughout our after birth experience. The suite was comfortable and had comprehensive catering. We would recommend the experience to others and are happy we chose the Fitzrovia.

It was my second cataract removal this time on my left eye which was excellently carried out as was the first with the nursing staff preparing me for the operation carrying it out in a very professional way explaining each procedure in a kindly manner. Everything was excellent. Staff were kind, friendly and efficient without exception. My only concern is that there does not seem to have been a good reason for the 14 week wait after referral. It seemed clear that Newmedica would have had capacity to complete the procedure sooner but apparently the NHS would not pay for this flexibility. My sight deteriorated in that time so that was a personal negative.

Very pleasant helpful team well led by Sheeraz who was very pleasant and efficient. One felt very confident in his care which seemed based on a very comprehensive knowledge base. Recommend most highly. He detected my AMD with a scan and provided advanced treatment which seems to be helping so no further action required for some months.
