Mr John Bowen-Davies

Received physio from John for several months following ankle surgery. He provided a structured plan and gradually got me back to fitness, offering much valued advice and reassurance along the way.

John is a fantastic physio. Extremely knowledgeable and has sorted out a number of issues for me. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. He’s so good in fact that I recommended him to my own PT who now also highly rates him. In addition he’s an all round great guy and gentleman.

John has been treating me for 2 problems, he has taken his time to understand the issues and has been able to explain exactly what the treatment and exercises are targeting. He has made me feel at ease at all times and has shown patience, great communication and a warm personality alongside his professional knowledge. I have recommended him to several friends.

John has helped me hugely with my frozen shoulder. He really cares about his patients and takes the time to explain things properly. When I needed to change an appointment at short notice he worked around my schedule without any fuss. Great experience throughout and highly recommend.

John is always professional and explains the problem before beginning any treatment- he has a brilliant sense of humour which always helps. I have recommended him on more than 1 occasion 👍

I met John at True Physio, when I attended for acupuncture. I have to say that it was a pleasure to be treated by John and meet the team. John provided me with a clear and informed discussion about my diagnosis and treatment plan. This was delivered with care and thought, and ultimately successful. Now pain free and functioning better. As a healthcare professional myself, I felt that John delivered everything that was needed, in a very accessible way. I would be happy to see him again.

John is a brilliant physio who listened to me and was very thorough in his assessment of what was wrong. He gave me exercises that have really helped and did some soft tissue massage to release tension in my muscles. I highly recommend John as a physio and he is worth every penny.

John diagnosed the issue thoroughly and offered a range of treatments including acupuncture, massage, stretches and exercise. The was genuine care in the treatment with a focus on effective and lasting solutions

My 14yr old son had a second knee operation in March 2026. We were referred to True Physio and met with John, and Im very glad we did. Given John had a lot of experience with this particular type of injury, he was able to really engage with my son and empathise with what he'd been through at quite a young age. We especially liked John's overall character and personality - very enthusiastic, talkative, and made us feel like he does genuinely care and want to help. He is very knowledgable, and also funny, which - when dealing with a teenager - was really great. I think John made a very positive impact on my son, and with his encouragement and enthusiasm, my son has coped tremendously well with the physio. I wish John the very best for his future, he is an excellent physiotherapist and long may his career continue. He is a true asset to the True Physio team and we appreciate everything he has done for us.
