After a long journey, you get to sit in a nice comfy room . The staff are very friendly and attend you all the time . What could be an unpleasant experience is made all the pleasant by the way you are loiked after . Apart from having to get up at 4am to travel to London, I would say a nice day out
Really helpful kind staff who explained every step of the process and were extremely compassionate when it came to painful or distressing moments. They really looked after me every step of the way from pre-surgery through to the extra vents for MRI to the surgery itself and then afterwards having the frame removed. Their care made my recovery much easier. It is a very frightening experience so having such thorough professionals beside me made a massive difference. I’m so glad I had it done there.

Absolutely first class treatment from the very top, Prof Andrew McEvoy to all the staff manning and working very hard in the Gamma Knife centre. Kind Empathetic, excellent, friendly. Professor McEvoy is absolutely charming, and not false in any way. He is a genuine friendly professor who instills calmness at a stressful time. I cannot thank or praise this gentleman enough. My visit there was pleasant due to the professionalism and the friendly staff. They made me feel comfortable. I can highly recommend all the staff there. Also there were Hannah and her team from Sheffield who made me relaxed and also Rona and Dr Tenko. Thank you very much to all the staff who attended to me.
Very helpful staff, exceptional service from start to finish. Staff were incredibly kind and empathetic, I felt very comfortable with them.
