Fantastic experience with Dr Constantinos and the team. The London Clinic was very comfortable and the entire process was very smooth and efficient. I barely ever waited a single minute. The only thing that seemed unnecessary was arranging a family member or friend to escort you home after the procedure, due to the sedation, which was very mild. Overall really great care before/during/after the procedure, and the procedure itself was a total breeze (colonoscopy).

Thanks so much for your feedback! Having an escort to go home after sedation is UK policy after sedation, both privately and through the NHS. Thanks so much for your kind review!

I had a very positive experience with Dr Parisinos. From the first appointment, he was supportive, understanding, and highly professional. I have been dealing with gastro issues for a long time and, unfortunately, have seen other consultants who were quite dismissive of my symptoms. Dr Parisinos was different, he took the time to listen carefully, review all the information thoroughly, and focus on identifying the root cause rather than just treating the symptoms. This approach gave me real confidence that I am finally on the right path towards recovery. I would highly recommend Dr Parisinos to anyone looking for a consultant who is compassionate, attentive, and truly committed to helping patients improve their health.

Genome-wide and Mendelian randomisation studies of liver MRI yield insights into the pathogenesis of steatohepatitis - PubMed

We estimated levels of liver inflammation and scarring based on magnetic resonance imaging of 14,440 UK Biobank participants. We performed a genetic study and identified variations in 6 genes associated with levels of liver inflammation and scarring. Participants with variations in 4 of these genes also had higher levels of markers of liver cell injury in blood samples, further validating their role in liver health. Two identified genes are involved in the transport of metal ions in our body. Further investigation of these variations may lead to better detection, assessment, and/or treatment of liver inflammation and scarring.
