I had surgery on my hip as a small child due to severe dysplasia and have lived with restricted movement my whole life. The fantastic surgeon at RNOH at the time created a hip that functioned very well for me for many years but pain and limitations were the normal day to day. I had delayed getting my hip replaced for decades, wanting to wait as long as possible as I was young but after seeing Mr Newman and discussing a Mako hip replacement I felt confident that he would be able to improve what I had. At the consultation he was clear, honest and made me feel more relaxed about the procedure. On surgery day he was reassuring and I was very happy for him to carry out the surgery. He followed up with visits every day I that was in hospital. The results have been better than I had imagined. He has been able to give me, not only a functioning hip but has even improved the external appearance of it. I’m very grateful for his expertise and couldn’t be happier with the results. At my follow up appointments Mr Newman patiently answered all my questions with honesty and knowledge and made me feel very welcome to contact him in the future with any concerns. I would be hesitate to recommend him as an excellent hip surgeon.

I honestly can’t recommend the fertility suite enough. Rebecca has been an absolute god send. I have been battling with pcos for years and the nhs refusing to help as my partner has a child from a previous relationship. I’ve been trying to help heal my body with information online but there are so many different opinions and advice and it became very overwhelming. From the start Rebecca has been friendly, empathetic and a great listener. I come out of my appointments feeling so relaxed and feel like I’ve just had a therapy session. She really understands what I’m going through. As well as Rebecca being amazing with the emotional side, she has helped me reduce my cycles from 77 and 79 days to 30/32 day cycles and now I am showing signs of ovulation, which I had only experienced once before. I know with her support the pregnancy will follow soon! She is great and always at the end of the phone/email for guidance and advice on what supplements to take and what to work on! Saw Dr Ibrahim in his private clinic in Nottingham. We discussed what had happened since he took me of the NHS waiting list for a pacemaker in October 2024. I had been free of any AF episodes for 15 months. Since the end of December 2025, I have had 2 short episodes of AF. He then explained that unless the episodes continued and affected my way of life, then there was no need for a pacemaker. He explained in detail the procedure for fitting a pacemaker. He reassured me that as long as I kept taking Apaxiban, then I was perfecting safe, even though my heartbeat ranged from 45 to 110. His professional and understanding approach, left me feeling that he had listened to me and that I felt much more confident in going forward, knowing that a pacemaker could be fitted when it was necessary.

I was scheduled day surgery on a Sunday and was told to report at Margate Hospital, St Peter’s Rd entrance. Being a Sunday, there was no one at Reception and although a sign said to go to another Reception, it was the wrong one. We asked someone who worked at the hospital and they did not know. Finally we found someone who did know and she directed us to the correct location. The appointment was for 12:30 (no food or drink prior) and the surgery didn’t actually take place until after 3pm. My opinion: 1. Not impressed with the directions and the scheduling; and 2. The surgeon and nurses were all absolutely wonderful, very efficient and professional, and made me feel confident that I was in good hands.

Firstly Mr Manjaly empathy and the time given, and how compassionate he was about my situation was outstanding He gave clear instruction and didn’t go into things to confuse me, as he took me through each stage carefully, which really helped, the outcome ideas he gave were really realistic. Working through all of these we could then work out that the Osia device was a good option. Communication for surgery was quick and consise, he came himself to see me and explained things clearly and took on how I was feeling. After over half a century being totally deaf in one ear, isolated, depression what Mr Manjaly has been able to do for me has changed my life and I had nothing but excellent treatment.

Professor Akolekar has been absolutely Fantastic at every appointment all the way throughout our pregnancy. I was really struggling with anxiety in this pregnancy following recurrent miscarriages, and I have never felt more looked after, which has really helped me to be able to enjoy this pregnancy, knowing we have a fantastic consult looking after our baby. Appointments are always on time and very detailed, time is always made to answer any questions fully and I always leave feeling confident and reassured. The communication with Natalia is always great to book and arrange appointments. This clinic really go above and beyond and o couldn’t recommend them highly enough!

Although the appointment wasn't satisfactory for me because the doctor couldn't give me a second opinion on my back and neck pain since his specialty is lower extremities, he sent me for updated MRI exams so he could give me a responsible and accurate second opinion on my knee and ankle. I emailed the doctor and am waiting for him to reply with his diagnosis from the previous appointment so I can provide my employer with the information they need to continue helping me with the MRI costs and get positive results that will allow me to go to work without any health risks. A good phonecall with listening to my issues with pain, my herniated disc that caused nerve compression and neuropathic pain, listening to what I've been on and my experience, and offering good advice on an immediate uptake in a different drug and getting booked in for injections of 3 possible types and will be assessed further at the time at to which to go with our how much Duloxetine has helped beforehand. I'm also Autistic and whilst I forgot to mention I found Dr Chaudhry easy to talk to and understand without him rushing me or making me feel like I'd done anything wrong.

Apart from a reception that were unaware of their visitors - the building and facilities were excellent. Dr. Bradley is a practitioner who has a broad grasp of all areas of HRT treatment. Her extensive knowledge makes you feel very confident about the decisions you make with the doctors assistance. She is never rushed and allows extensive discussion about past and present research. I am extremely impressed by her professionalism. I left after my consultation feeling I had explored all the areas I had questions about but came away with a lot of new information.

I was extremely nervous having had a bad cataract surgery experience previously. However the staff went out of the way to make me feel comfortable, with a particular shout out to Bruce who was calm, funny, knowledgeable and held my hand throughout the procedure. Mr Ainsworth was warm and kind, it was good to meet him before the surgery. The whole procedure was explained and was over so quickly. It was a very personalised experience and my recovery has been quick and straightforward. I cannot recommend Newmedica highly enough, particularly for nervous patients.
