As someone who avoids all things medical - and doctors - like the plague, Dr Alwan could not have been easier or more empathetic to have a referral to (I was suffering, for the first time ever, from extremely low iron, and a haemoglobin count that was very worrying). I was so relieved to be under the care of someone who was clearly incredibly knowledgable but good enough to talk in terms that I would understand. He was also extremely efficient - as was his office - and appointments for tests and iron infusions at UCLH were organised very swiftly. Thanks to Dr. Alwan, and the prompt and appropriate actions he took, my iron levels/blood tests soon showed a vast improvement - plus I felt so much better. I recently had Asian blepharoplasty with Miss Ting, and I am super pleased with the results. My eyelids were uneven and the first plastic surgeon I consulted with told me it wasn’t possible to make them symmetrical. Then I found Miss Ting, a plastic surgeon specialising in eyelids! She explained that the asymmetry was because one of my eyelids had a skin fold but the other one did not, therefore to make them symmetrical she created a new skin fold in one eyelid to match the other. From start to finish, she was professional, meticulous, and reassuring. I specifically wanted my eyes to look refreshed while keeping my natural ethnic features, and Miss Ting understood exactly what I was looking for. Super happy!

I can’t thank Miss Gordon enough since I got put under her for my care my faith in urology has been restored .i had very bad experiences before but Miss Gordon has come in and changed everything she listens, explains everything clearly I have so much trust in her and wouldn’t want any other consultant caring for me now.she keeps me well informed and has fought my corner to get me the help I need.i can not put into words my gratitude for Miss Gordon she is such an amazing Dr who truly cares for her patients one in a million I feel lucky that she is my consultant

I found Dr Somani to be an excellent practitioner as I have found him to be on my previous encounters. He was particularly attentive on this visit as I did have a number of issues I wished to raise. Some of them not being something Dr Somani could remedy as they are not in his remit as a cardiologist. I was very appreciative of the time he took to listen through my various quandaries surrounding my heart condition and he came to a very quick and decisive solution that will support me in moving forward.

Mr. Sobti was friendly, professional, confident, and I felt he knew what he was doing. His examination of a very painful thigh was gentle and sympathetic. I felt I was in good hands, and his care was thorough. I would recommend him. I must add that Ally, (his secretary) was also incredibly helpful. A doctor's administrative staff are very important. Ally answered the phone and my queries out of hours with the same courtesy and helpfulness that every patient dreams of. It is rare.

My appt was with Mr Muneer Ahmed and it is always a pleasant experience. The team at reception are always polite, friendly and welcoming and the nurses who are in the room with me during my examinations are empathic and kind. It's always clean and bright in the unit and ltge whole experience lessens my anxiety when visiting for checkups. Mr Ahmed is always professional but so personable and is super efficient with making and communicating my appts and results.

on arrival at the hospital on the morning of the op we were ask to be there at 07:45am which we arrived at that time. we were told and made our way to reception where we meet an extremely helpful porter who showed us to our room. the routine was taken over buy various checks tablets etc we then waited and waited for at least4 hours before i went down for the operation no one gave us any advice on how long we would be waiting.

The whole process was quick and very professional from first appointment to the surgery and aftercare. I felt like I was in very capable hands, and I'm delighted with the result. I had couple of small hiccups after the surgery (hair/eyelash stuck in my eye which Mr Taylor removed with minimal fuss) and it took a couple of months for my eye to adjust.
