Wow, what an amazing place with a holistic approach to recovery. Far from previous experiences that simply provide a detox and a few tools tacked on the end. Delamere provides any willing individual the opportunity to explore yourself and a way of life that can truly bring balance and happiness. The food was excellent, home cooked with minimal processed food, probably only the tofu as the vegetarian option was processed, along with bacon and sausage for breakfast. Chefs were very approachable and friendly, even gained some advice on what to cook at home. The overall environment was clean, tidy and well maintained. The liaison team were excellent and always on hand to support and guide when needed.The nursing team were also superb, always there to answer any medical questions in a compassionate way. The mentors provided clear direction without judgement or bias. My therapist was second to none and created a safe environment for me to discover myself, while always being there to catch me when I stumbled. All in all a life changing experience. I have left with a solid toolset and aftercare package that will steer me through a joyful life with my friends and family. Only negative was the insane temperature in the bedrooms…..bring some cool PJs.

The Portland Hospital was a wonderful place to safely deliver our beautiful baby boy. Our experience was personalised, with very thorough and caring professionals. Our obstetrician, Dr Kenga Sivarajah, was incredibly knowledgable and kind: someone we could trust implicitely and who was there throughout the entire 22 hour labour to ensure a safe delivery. The Anaesthetic team were quick and very effective with the epidural, ensuring that my pain was well managed throughout, with no side effects from the epidural. The nursing staff, both on the delivery ward and maternity ward, were amazing. Ellie and Scarlet were there every step to make sure I was safe and comfortable during labour. On the birth ward, we had regular nurse check ins and a lot of help with breastfeeding positions and latch. There was the option of the night nursery as well, which we elected not to use. The room was very comfortable with a trundle bed for my partner to sleep and a private bathroom (hugely appreciated immediately post birth). The food was excellent, with an extensive menu. The kitchen was a bit slow on some of the orders, but otherwise very good. Overall, our Portland experience was wonderful and we would hope to deliver there again in future.

Muna is a miracle worker. She made our whole pregnancy journey as smooth as it could possibly be. We started seeing Muna from around 12 weeks and quickly built a good rapport with her. She was very empathetic taking into account all our fears/ paranoias and did so with a lot of patience. She educated and guided us through the journey answering all our questions. She was very approachable and responded quickly to emails, calling us when needed, prescribing medicines to help manage smallest of pain and even guiding us through diets. The delivery was even smoother. We had always wanted a natural delivery and Muna fully respected that and prepared a plan with us based on different possible scenarios. We came into the hospital at 930pm and our baby was born at 215am - it was that smooth. There was some tear and she spent a lot of time immaculately stitching them so recovery was quick. I had always feared labor but thanks to Muna didn’t even realise how it passed. Needless to say we will only go to Muna for any future pregnancies. Thank you Muna for everything.

I cannot recommend Erin Lahay highly enough. Over the past three months, she has helped me immensely with both shoulder and lower back pain. What sets Erin apart is her holistic approach. Her treatment combined soft tissue massage to relieve pain and a tailored exercise routine designed specifically for my needs. I had my suspicions as to what was happening to me. However, going down the general NHS GP route was not getting me anywhere. They kept treating each symptom individually rather than looking at me as a whole. A few years of going backwards and forwards. Stress! With Dr Nikki, within the 30 minute consultation I felt heard, all symptoms were put together and a treatment plan was formed. It all made sense and everything was explained. Medication prescribed and ordered, report received and a report sent to my own GP, all within a few hours. Future follow up already booked. That is what you call professionalism, efficiency and having very knowledgeable doctors who understand the female body. Wish I had booked them sooner. I would highly recommend them.
