Mr Ibrahim Roushdi

Mr. Ibrahim Roushdi is a highly accomplished Consultant Orthopaedic Hand and Wrist Surgeon with over 15 years of experience, based in Shrewsbury and Oswestry. He graduated from St George’s Hospital Medical School in London in 2005 before completing his orthopaedic training on the South West Thames rotation, obtaining his FRCS(Orth) in 2013. He then undertook further specialist training as the nationally appointed Hand Fellow at the world-renowned Pulvertaft Hand Centre, and in 2016 was awarded the prestigious British Diploma in Hand Surgery.

At the Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital in Oswestry, Mr. Roushdi specialises in treating a wide range of hand and wrist conditions, including wrist arthritis, thumb arthritis, carpal tunnel syndrome, thumb joint replacement, Dupuytren’s contracture, nerve surgery, and wrist arthroplasty. His surgical expertise extends to both routine and complex procedures, offering patients advanced treatment options tailored to their individual needs.

Alongside his clinical work, Mr. Roushdi is committed to research and education. He has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications and is a regular speaker at national and international conferences, sharing his expertise and contributing to the advancement of orthopaedic surgery. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons and an active member of the British Orthopaedic Association and the British Society for Surgery of the Hand.
