About Dr. Tanveer Chohan
Dr. Tanveer Chohan is a highly qualified and experienced Consultant Dermatologist. With extensive training and expertise, he specialises in diagnosing and treating a wide range of skin, hair, and nail conditions in both adults and children.
Dr. Chohan's journey to becoming a Consultant Dermatologist began with his medical studies at the University of Birmingham, followed by Dermatology Specialist Training in the West Midlands. He earned the award of a CCT in Dermatology, and is on the GMC Specialist register for Dermatology.
Throughout his career, Dr. Chohan has worked at esteemed Dermatology units such as the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham and Birmingham Children’s Hospital. He brings his wealth of experience and expertise to his clinical practice, addressing various skin concerns with a compassionate and friendly approach.
Dr. Chohan's clinical interests include skin lesion diagnosis and surgery, laser surgery, acne, rosacea, psoriasis, eczema, hair loss, skin cancer, mole checks and paediatric dermatology. He is also skilled laser dermatologist and treats conditions such as scarring, pigmentation, redness, flushing and many other complaints. He has extensive expertise in skin surgery, including the removal of skin lesions, cysts, and lipomas.

Nurses are very friendly and made me feel very comfortable, the dr that did my surgery was great he explained everything he was doing and even did some extra checks on my moles that I was worried about . All very lovely staff.
I had a procedure done on my foot and Dr. Chohan gave me a face to face consultation and explained what I had on my skin, how we were going to treat it. I had my procedure and felt no pain, was very comfortable and had an amazing experience. They gave me aftercare and ensure I understood how to take care of the wound and how to let it recover properly.
He is an experienced, compassionate and patient-focused doctor. He took time to listen carefully to my concern and showed genuine empathy and understanding throughout the consultation. He examined the rash and allergies across my body very thoroughly and explained his assessment clearly. I particularly appreciated how patiently he explained his treatment plan and the steps we would take to manage and improve my condition. I felt assured and well cared for after the consultation. I am very grateful for his professionalism. patience and genuine care.

Dr Tanveer made me feel very relaxed during the procedure. Had lots of clear and detailed instructions about what was happening and what to do after.
Dr. Chohan gave me a detailed explanation of my test results and discussed possible treatments with me, making me well aware of all the side effects I might have. He made sure I asked any questions I had and discussed the best treatment for me.
I had an procedure done on my head, the staff were very polite and friendly and Dr Chohan explained it clearly to me, it was done quickly and everything went to plan. After I had left I began to fall dizzy and my blood pressure had dropped alot so another nurse looked after me until I was ready to leave
