After extensive research, my husband and I agreed that Vincenzo Maurino was the best person to perform our lens replacement surgery. We felt comfortable right from the initial consultation and knew we had made the right decision. Andrew was very warm and welcoming and explained everything to us clearly about appointments and payments. Mr Maurino took time to advise us on the best treatment and lenses to suit our individual needs. We were tested thoroughly by Mr Maurino’s excellent team. At no time did we feel under pressure to commit; however, we were so impressed with everything that we were anxious to book our procedures straight away. On the day of our surgeries, we arrived at Moorfields and were greeted by wonderful nurses who took great care of us. Mr Maurino talked us through the process both before and during surgery. Everything was very efficient, quick, and painless. We have no hesitation in recommending Mr Maurino and staff; in fact, we have already passed on Mr Maurino’s details to friends and family who are now looking to book. A massive thank you to the whole team for an excellent service. We are delighted and grateful for the life-changing experience and having 20/20 vision for the first time in our lives.

I always have a good experience when visiting the practice. The staff are always friendly. However, on the last visit I think there are things you guys need to review. I was in for a gel injection into my knee which was being carried out by Mr Dehne in the theatre. He had previously confirmed that it would be a simple procedure and that after a short time I would be fine to drive home. However, on arrival it was clear that the team believed I was in for a knee replacement. I was shown to my own room, asked to select from the menu for the following day, and given medication that I assume I didn't require! Further more, the team were loathed to let me drive home and I had to wait a couple of hours until they could check with Mr Dehne that it would be ok as all the paperwork confirmed otherwise. The theatre staff were double checking with me the reason for my visit so there was a checking procedure in place but you may need to review why there was confusion in the first place.

Mrs Polly Ford was fine. I am very disappointed to wait a year and half to see someone about chronic pain that is effecting my every day life terrible. Leaving unable to work and care for my child how a mother should.. and I’m told to go back to my gp for pain med.. my dr ASKs me what i need regarding pain meds they are great, women with this condition need guidance and support. A plan is n place ?? It’s like a free for all with pain meds ?! Madness its Not just drugs… we need with this condition.. so sad.. i know NHS is on its knees. Im so greatful for everyone that works for them. They do the best they can with what they have. However my care needs are not being meet by Gynaecology. And I do request to speak to somebody else.

I went at 11 weeks for a scan and for a NIPT test. The booking process was excellent, the members on the phone were so helpful and considerate. My appointment with Dr Desi was on time and extremely thorough. She was so compassionate, caring and kind throughout the appointment, explaining everything each step of the way and being extremely thorough through the scan and explaining our NIPT options. It’s the best consulting experience I’ve had throughout my pregnancy. Reception staff were extremely helpful too. I would really recommend LPC to any expecting couples. It was a private appoint & I paid for the ILR device. That was fine but I have been disappointed with the follow up since which seems to provide no reassurance that the ILR results are being looked at / reviewed so it is a case of assuming "no news is good news". In my view this is poor, if not unsatisfactory and it seems to me an initial 3 month review email followed by half yearly emails would be welcomed by patients. Also issue of contact phone numbers would be helpful e.g. technical. episode queries

After the operation my eye took a few weeks to settle. That meant I got to experience rather more post-op care than might be usual. Not only was the level of care excellent, but I got to see all the same staff most visits. An efficient and friendly team. Special praise due to the optometrist whose explanations where clear and precise and the responses to my questions well considered. This set my mind at rest.
