Dr. James Noake is not only a phenomenal doctor but also a truly exceptional person. His clinical expertise, commitment, and compassion enabled me to achieve something that had once felt impossible, and I will be forever grateful for his care. I had been training for seven months to take on a double marathon in memory of my brother, who tragically took his own life just over a year ago. The run meant everything to me — not just as a personal challenge, but as a way to honour him and raise money for The Hunchman Trust, a charity that supports young people navigating grief, especially after suicide. By the time race day was in sight, I had already raised £28,000, and the weight of expectation — from myself and from those supporting me — felt enormous. Seventeen days before the event, disaster struck. I was injured, and despite visits to a physio, I was in terrible shape. With less than two weeks to go, I was convinced my dream was over. It was then that my physio referred me to Dr. James Noake, who, upon hearing my story, went to great lengths to fit me into his schedule. My case was complicated. I had an inflamed Kager’s fat pad and a trapped sural nerve, problems made even harder to diagnose because of a previous ankle reconstruction back in 2019. Where others had struggled, Dr. Noake immediately identified the issue. The very next morning, he came in early to give me the treatment and injections I desperately needed. What happened next felt nothing short of remarkable. Days earlier I had been ready to give up, certain I’d have to withdraw from the race. Instead, with Dr. Noake’s expertise and guidance, I was not only able to start but to finish the double marathon. Throughout the event, he made himself available, checking in, offering advice, and guiding me on what I could and couldn’t do to protect myself. Thanks to him, I was able to cross that finish line and, more importantly, honour my brother’s memory in the way I had hoped.

I have seen Miss Elena Chmileskaya on the NHS before, but opted to go privately to continue with my menopausal journey due to wait times. I had had some blood tests taken privately, and took the results with me. The first thing that struck me was that Miss Chmilskaya spoke about our previous appointments - referring to what we had discussed before. This was not only reassuring, but meant I didn't have to go through my history with her. We discussed in detail, my journey, and more recent concerns. She discussed options with me, to change my HRT medications and spent time on each element. I felt that she was really listening to me, and taking into account my opinions and previous experiences. We agreed on a plan, which involved an ultrasound, which she did herself immediately. After the scan, we recapped our discussion, the outcomes, and provided me with a prescription. I felt totally at ease, so relieved to have spoken to her, and had such a successful appointment. I now have a plan, a new prescription, and will continue to monitor myself. I will be continuing with this course of treatment to work through the rest of my journey, with someone knowledgeable that I feel I can trust and rely on.

I found Mr Patrini to be a wonderful surgeon. He explained the procedure thoroughly, outlining both the benefits and risks, and never attempted to persuade me one way or the other, leaving the decision entirely up to me. Before the operation, he once again went through the procedure and potential risks, answering all my questions as well as those of my husband and daughter. Following the operation, he spoke with my husband to explain how it went, and I also saw him personally afterwards. He visited me again on Wednesday and Thursday morning, examined me, and answered all of my questions in full. In addition, he kept my husband updated directly. In conclusion, I would describe Mr Patrini as a conscientious, patient-centred surgeon who combines clarity with genuine care.

We found TCM on google and the reviews seemed really good. My wife and I had been TTC for many years naturally but also involves some surgical procedures that had a negative impact. There was no monthly cycle for almost a year before we found TCM and gave it a go. Professor Au was friendly and thorough during the first consultation and referred us for a blood test. The conclusion was a severe hormonal imbalance that was probably a stress and trauma response to a number of things. Long story short after 10 weeks of following the course of custom remedies we had a breakthrough. My wife went from borderline clinical menopause to having a full on healthy period. I was admitted in an emergency under a consultant physician. I had an infection with dehydration.The admission procedure was very calming and welcoming.. The nursing staff were so friendly and my initial care was exactly what was needed to start my treatment and recovery. The consultant had sent a plan of action which was put into action immediately. All very professional, no fuss and reassuring. My room was very comfortable, all I needed for my needs. Catering was similarly a high standard, good menu and choice as to my appetite and ability to eat. All the staff were great and responded very quickly if needed. I was very impressed with my care and the attention I received. The attitude of everyone was just what was required to get me better.

I have suffered from difficult to control high blood pressure for over 30 years. Growing increasingly concerned about this, I booked an appointment with Dr Khan. His approach has always been kind and all decisions around my medications have been taken with me very much at the centre. He always takes time to explain his rationale around investigation and treatment decisions which I find helpful to understand the management of my blood pressure. He has never been phased by needing to alter my treatment when the results were not expected, and he has identified a treatment combination that has finally worked for me. My only regret is that I did not make first appointment sooner.

Attended for a PSA blood test. Arrived a few minutes early but was taken for the test straight away and made to feel very comfortable by a very nice nurse who asked me if I had a problem with blood tests - which I do. She told me to lie on a bench and was very reassuring and I was sorted out in no time at all. A quick plaster on the injection site and I was out the door again - feeling quite brave by then of course - a few minutes before my actual appointment time. You don't get that service on the NHS nowadays sadly. I still don't like blood tests but, if you do need one, you can't do much better than in my opinion.
