Miss Nair provided me with great care and professionalism throughout pre and post op-surgery. I was supported throughout during all of my appointments and felt at ease during consultation. I was given medical advice to lose weight post-op to avoid any symptoms of my prolapse returning, as during examination being four months post-operative, I had a small low rectocele which was a concern to me. After following good advice from Miss Nair I managed to lose two stone for my next upcoming appointment with Miss Nair, that took place in October 2025. I am so very pleased with the robotic surgery I had to hold my prolapse in place. Feeling more confident and able to live a normal active life. I still have to be mindful in some activities I carry out at the moment but this is work in progress. Without the surgery more than likely I would not had been able to do the activities I do today, where this would of definitely impacted me in being even more over weight. I had pelvic pain before surgery and now its gone completely. Being active without the worry of my prolapse being there keep's me motivated and confident. I would certainly recommend Miss Nair to others for her professionalism, and her expertise in surgery is amazing. I am so happy with the result of the surgery and the care provided by Miss Nair. Dr Shah took time to explain the results of the mole mapping and the reasons why he recommended one of the moles to be removed, explaining what this would mean in terms of the size of the incision and the healing process. This was information that helped me to make an informed decision. I very much appreciated his care in ensuring there was a chaperone in the room as appropriate and a female nurse during the procedure. He included in a fee a follow up call, which was reassuring and helped to mitigate any risks of possible infection going forward. He was caring and helped to put me at ease. Only had a very brief conversation prior to and post surgery with Mr Khanna, however he was friendly enough. I appreciate he had back to back surgeries to complete which according to the nurse we’re running behind due to other patients arriving late so doesn’t have time to chat. Post surgery all he informed me was that my hernia was “Huge” and that was really it, however i would’ve liked to have been told a little bit more detail about how things went, what had been done etc as I wasn’t given any discharge notes like when I have had previous surgeries at Blakelands.

Staff were excellent - both clinical and non clinical team members. Nothing was too much bother and they went over and above our expectations of the care we thought we would receive. We spent 2 nights on the Clayton Ward after I had an unplanned c section. As first time parents without close family nearby, the Clayton ward offered us the guidance, support and care we needed as a new family but also to allow me to get the appropriate medical care as part of post surgery recovery.

My husband and I both saw Rekesh and are really impressed. A first class ear specialist who from the outset listens attentively, explains clearly and makes you feel at ease. My hearing test and wax removal from both ears were pain-free even though there was some wax on my actual eardrum. My husband got great advice on how to manage with wax buildup in his ears and on what to do and importantly not to do & when to have it removed. Highly recommended.

Above and beyond! I was not the most agile person on crutches, my partner dropped me at the door whilst he went to park. Getting me checked in and wheelchair was no issue at all. The nurse in Out Patients who removed my stitches was ki d caring and professional, checking on me all the time (allowing me to take photos !). Took time to fit my walking boot to make sure it was comfortable.
