I have been absolutely delighted with the care & treatments I have received from Mr Dimitri over the past 6 months,having both legs assessed and treated in his clinics. Thoughout this entire period, Mr Dimitri has been consistently professional yet wonderfully friendly,which immediately put me at ease whenever I spoke with him. I truly felt he went above & beyond to do everything he possibly could to ensure my treatment was successful and I can not thank him enough for his kindness, expertise and genuine dedication to my care.

I could not be happier with my decision to have Mr Dimitri deal with my varicose veins. He and Carys are very pleasant and professional. My consultation was very clear in terms of what the best option was and what it would involve as well as the recovery period and follow up. The procedure itself (laser and phlebectomies) took just over 1 hour and there was only very minor discomfort later that day when the local anaesthetic wore off. 6 weeks down the line, you would never know that I had had fairly impressive varicose veins in my calf as I have been left with no sign that there was ever a problem there. I should have had this done years ago. I have no hesitation in recommending modern treatment of varicose veins and highly recommend Mr Dimitri as the person to treat them.

Where do I start?! I couldn’t have wished for a better result. I’ve had varicose veins on my left leg since my early twenties; I’ve been self conscious and aware of them for over 10 years. I would avoid wearing shorts and the vein would be the first thing I’d notice in any photos. A couple of years ago, my mum had her varicose veins treated by Mr Dimitri; she was impressed and highly praiseworthy of the process from start to finish. I decided to bite the bullet and see about getting it done. The one thing holding me back was my love of running and competing in fitness events and the inevitable time I’d have to take off for recovery. I planned the procedure to be done over the summer period. I had everything clearly explained to me before hand (during the consultation and through emails) and throughout the procedure. I was made to feel comfortable and relaxed throughout the operation- I had sclerotherapy, phlebotomies and laser ablation; I was awake throughout with local anaesthetic and made to feel at ease by both Carys and Mr Dimitri. It was so much better than I could ever have anticipated! Throughout the recovery period, I followed all the advice I was given and knew I could contact Mr Dimitri and Carys for advice at any point. Four and a half weeks on, I’ve started back running and training at the gym. I couldn’t be happier with the result. I’m now making the most of wearing shorts into the Autumn months while I can!

Mr Dimitri explained the procedure in detail and made sure I understood how it was going to work and what the aftercare process would be . I felt very confident in Mr Dimitri and everything went perfectly well , Thank you again .
