Professor Sandip Hindocha is a highly accomplished Consultant Aesthetic Plastic Surgeon with over 16 years of experience in the field. He holds a substantive post as a Consultant Plastic, Reconstructive, Cosmetic, Laser & Hand Surgeon at Bedford NHS Trust, where he serves as the clinical director of the plastic surgery & laser centre and chairs the theatres board. Additionally, he holds the position of visiting professor at the University of Bedfordshire. Professor Hindocha has over 17 years of clinical experience.

At The Harley Medical Group, Professor Hindocha performs a wide range of cosmetic procedures, including breast augmentation, breast uplift, breast reduction, body contouring (such as abdominoplasty, liposuction, arm lift, and thigh lift), and various facial surgeries, including rhinoplasty and ear correction surgery. His exceptional skills and patient-focused approach have earned him many compliments from his patients. He is often sought after for second opinions, particularly for patients with complex needs.

Professor Hindocha's journey in plastic surgery began with his qualification from the University of Manchester in 2005. He underwent comprehensive training in Manchester, Liverpool, USA (Dallas), and Canada (Toronto). In addition to his plastic surgery training, he completed a recognised cosmetic surgery fellowship program, further enhancing his expertise.

Professor Hindocha has authored several book chapters, published over 100 peer-reviewed scientific articles, and presented his work at both national and international levels. He also plays an active role in teaching and mentoring junior plastic surgeons, having established the Bedford FRCS(plast) course.

His contributions to plastic surgery have been recognised with numerous academic awards, including the prestigious Society of Academic Research Surgeons award in 2009. Professor Hindocha is affiliated with esteemed professional organisations, including the British Association of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeons (BAPRAS), the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS), and the British Medical Laser Association (BMLA). He is also a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons.

In addition to his surgical expertise, Professor Hindocha holds the role of national lead forensic medical examiner and is a member of the Faculty of Forensic & Legal Medicine.
