Enthusiasm made me feel calm and less worried about the surgery.

Adil is the most reassuring and positive consultant I’ve come across. There is nothing that you feel won’t work and he gives you full confidence that you’ll be back to ‘normal’. His in depth knowledge of the knee is second to none, and there’s a reason I insisted on having Adil do my ACL reconstruction, having previously had an operation on my other knee that was a total success under his guidance.

Mr Ajuied was extremely approachable from the moment I met him. He was very clear with his diagnosis and the recommended course of action and with the percentage likelihoods of outcomes. For me it was great that he has a good sense of humour and is very upbeat and positive. Most importantly, his surgical skills were superb. He was able to do a meniscus repair on my knee and established that my ACL did not need repair. As an active person in my later 50s this was just the outcome I needed. Now, 12 weeks post surgery, you would hardly know I have had surgery and I can look forward to full resumption of sport in another couple of months. By his own admission, Adil is a “knee nerd” - if you need knee advice or surgery, I can wholeheartedly recommend him.

Mr Ajuied always made sure that what he explained was understood and made sure that i knew how things would proceed including recovery time. The treatment before during and since the operation has been excellent and i am fully pleased with the results.

Brilliant all round experience. I had an ongoing knee issue, which was becoming more of an issue year on year. I booked a consultation with Mr Adil Ajuied, who diagnosed me with a raptured ACL. I was provided a great insight of what an ACL is, and what my options are. Very grateful for the care I was given.

Based on my own research and a personal recommendation I had high expectations of Mr Ajuied. I was not disappointed. He was excellent from start to finish. He was a wonderful bedside manner and explains things very simply and factually. His surgical talent speaks for itself as I’m now 11 weeks post op (having had a meniscus repair), I’ve been pain free, and not wanting to jinx it, but my recovery has been excellent. I still have a few months of physio to go but I’m very optimistic I will have 100% recovery, knee so much better than before when it was continuously locking (again excellent and who was recommended by Mr Ajuied). I should also add I was equally impressed with Emma, his practice manager, she was incredibly responsive, organised, and helpful - a great team. Thank-you Mr Ajuied/ Emma for your care.

Adil was kind, enthusiastic and personable. His explanations were clear and he reinforced key points in a memorable and concise manner. He was also very knowledgeable when answering follow up questions and clearly very passionate about his area of work.

Incredibly friendly, professional and knowledgeable. He has lived up to the recommendation shared with me from others. Early days post surgery and not wanting to jinx, but recovery has so far been exceeded my expectations in a good way, so testament to his skills.
