My experience was very disappointing with the consultant. I was happy for my appointment to be changed just before attending due to the consultant running late. I was very disappointed with the lack of interest and time shown to be by the consultant. I got 10 minutes of his time to be told to cut out caffeine at the cost of £250. I was hoping to receive some understanding of what could be causing recurrent UTI's and reassuring me of any fears of anything sinister i.e bladder cancer. Only to be told this only occurs for around 10/20% of cases. I think what really irked me was he looked at his watch part way through me speaking This I found very disrespectful and rude.

Dr Mulla listened... fortunately he is up to date on my particular, rather ambiguous, condition. I get the impression that he keeps up to date with latest developments and findings in his field of ENT. If only I had been able to see him 18 months ago, I would have been sorted in just one consultation. He is very personable, professional, friendly and efficent (by that I mean he dictated his letter to my GP in front of me before I left my appointment). This was a moment when you feel the NHS is at its best.

Our 3 months old son has been struggling with tummy issues like colic and silent reflux since he was born. We have not received sufficient or convincing advice from NHS paediatricians or GPs. We had a great experience with Dr. Chakraborty who finally paid attention to our concerns and was clear about how we could address them. It was the first time we felt that someone truly cared for the wellbeing of our baby. He was attentive and professional, and we would happily book another appointment in the future.

I would very highly recommend the Clayton ward. We have had two babies there and were really well looked after by kind, happy staff (doctors, midwives, assistants, catering and reception) who taught us a huge amount about how to care for a newborn. Having access to 121 support from midwives anytime day or night is just invaluable. The food was very good (for hospital food) and we genuinely looked forward to it each day - it really helped us recover as sleep deprived parents.

Initial consultation was arranged at my convenience and with minimum delay. All symptoms and proposed treatment was discussed and explained in a clear and professional way. The treatment was carried out, again at my convenience, and the follow up consultation explained fully the findings and suggested treatment. All communication was done quickly and efficiently and I am extremely pleased, and reassured, by the care I have received from everyone involved in the process.

I'm sure it was being decorated when I visited 6 months ago. Still is. Before appointment they send forms to be completed online. No problem with that except one is for COVID asking if anybody on the family has been to a country on the government red list or been told to isolate by NHS. Neither of those things happen now. I raise it every time and nothing changes. Almost as if nobody reads the reviews. So much for "quality"

Would highly recommend Mr Sahu. He was thorough and took the time to explain my situation to me. It was reassuring to know that the treatment I had already been receiving for my AMD was appropriate but he also highlighted the need for cataract surgery in both eyes.
