⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A truly outstanding doctor — I can’t thank him enough I want to say a special thank you to Fahim, who was my doctor during the appointment. He was truly outstanding. I don’t say that lightly. At my age, you get used to doctors talking fast, using big words, and handing you another tablet without really explaining anything. Fahim was the complete opposite. He spoke to me gently, clearly, and with such patience that I honestly felt myself relax for the first time in days. He went through my tablets slowly and explained how they all work together — I’ve never had that done for me before. Usually it’s one pill for this, one pill for that, and off you go. But he made it all make sense. It was like someone finally switched a light on. And the way he treated me… I felt respected. Seen. Not brushed off because of my age, not made to feel silly for not knowing things. He really cared, and you can tell when a doctor genuinely cares. I came away with more understanding, more confidence, and honestly more hope. He made a real difference to me that night, more than he probably realises. If I need help again, I’ll be asking for Fahim without hesitation. A wonderful doctor and a lovely human being.

A bad first impression: I arrived as requested at 7:30 to find no staff in Reception and the whole area in darkness! After about 10 , mins a nurse arrived to take us through to the ward. I had been told by the nurse on the phone doing the pre-op check that I was first on the list. However on the day I was told I was 6th, but suspect there were more than 5 people in front of me, as I was not taken downstairs for the procedure until 1about 11:30.. The problem for me was that I was very nervous and the unexpected delay made me very anxious. During my time in Room 19 the male nurse (?) looking after me did an excellent job, trying to reassure me as well as doing all the necessary preparation. Once I got to the operating theatre everyone was pleasant, efficient and friendly, The sedation was effective and the experience much less unpleasant that the retinal tear repair I had had at Moorfields about 10 years ago. I am now in a much better state to face the procedure on the 2nd eve in a few days time.

I feel so lucky to be in the very capable guidance & care of Dr Theodora Kalentzi along with Zarina who makes the whole booking process so easy. Going on HRT has been the best thing for me & what is wonderful is how Dr Theodora has such a pragmatic & calm approach. I was in a bit of a broken state not understanding what was wrong. By the end of my first appointment I felt really happy that I was ‘normal’ as Dr Theodora listened & was generous with her time in kindly sharing her knowledge of how this is a normal process that we women go through. How right she was as within a few weeks I felt myself again which was a huge relief. We continue to have regular appointments which are always so calm & helpful. I would not hesitate to recommend Medical Prime & the amazing team to anyone. It has been one of the best decisions I have made.

The team at Newmedica from the receptionists to the optometrists, nurses and Mr Anjari my consultant were so welcoming and made me feel at ease from the moment I arrived. I was quite anxious about having cataract surgery, but the team made me feel relaxed each time I visited. Mr Anjari was very reassuring and spent time helping me decide which lenses were right for me. The surgery was quick, and painless - so efficient., I had no need to worry about going back for the second one. The aftercare was excellent too with a phone check up and another thorough appointment. Mr Anjari helped me choose Galaxy lenses … I can’t believe how clearly I can see near and far ! It is nothing short of miraculous after living in a blur for years! I am now able to read the smallest print yet look across a field and identify birds in the trees. I’ll be forever thankful to Mr Anjari and his team for the transformation of my sight.

Very pleasing experience. I was given plenty of time, and had a thorough examination of my ears, with the removal of wax, followed by a full hearing test. I returned a couple of weeks later, and having been shown several different hearing aids, went for ones that fit into the ear, with no wires or pieces behind the ear. I now have them on a months trial to see how I get on with them. I was quoted a price, which I understand I will pay if these are the correct ones for me, but only when I am totally satisfied. There is then a 3 monthly check included in the price. I believe I can try others if these are not right for me, and Mr Clive who I saw, was most helpful and understanding of a lady who hated the idea of wearing hearing aids!

I recently visited Fitzrovia Hospital and had an excellent experience from start to finish. The facility is clean, well organised, and welcoming, but what truly stood out was the care of all staff, friendly, supportive and specifically the exceptional care provided by Kate. Kate was warm attentive, and incredibly professional throughout my visits. She took time to care for me and explain all things clearly, was patient and I felt hugely comfortable and supported. Her kindness and calm approach made a huge difference, and I genuinely felt in safe hands. A professional surgical process and experience with timely post op follow up with due care and attention by each and every staff member. Highly recommend.

Very happy with the set up all round. Consultant amazingly helpful in comparison. He was extremely knowledgeable and very concerned . I liked the fact that he actually listened when I explained my problem. ( Its tedious even for me to hear so I can understand the need to switch off at times)...!...but obviously extremely painful ! The actual appointment with the consultant was about 30 minutes. He examined me and advised medication for immediately and perhaps in the future. Excellent man ,so nice . I felt completely safe and taken care of. Prof Mabrouk has an excellent bedside manner. The entire endometriosis team at the Spire Cambridge Lea is excellent. It was really wonderful to experience a continuity of care post-surgery and the team was only an email or phone call away whenever I had questions.

Overall a good experience except the wait time for the report. The clinicians were professional and friendly. The administration staff were also professional and helpful. The reports are very thorough, clear and professional. The report was over 4 weeks past the date it was expected / had been told. This proved to be extremely stressful. For me it would have been better to advertise a longer wait time and deliver it sooner rather than the other way around. Of course I accept that delays can occur. Overall a good experience and would recommend. Thank you.

Just a couple of things… Firstly, during the pre-assessment appointment with the specialist nurse, I was informed that a catheter would be inserted by the anaesthetist - which is incorrect! (think it’s the nurse, but it was important to me as I knew the anaesthetist personally) Secondly, please move the wall clock in the room! Following surgery when you’re lying awake during what feels like an endless night, it would be good to be able to know what time it is.
