The hospital was very clean, staff were very friendly and helpful. The procedure staff were particularly nice and professional. I was very happy with the procedure and the level of professionalism and also good bedside manner. One/two areas which could be improved if you are interested : 1. Pre-procedure information suggested an overall time from entry to release of approx 2hrs. With a 6pm admission time, I assumed I could arrange a collection for 8.30pm with some time to spare. However, on arrival, after approx 1hr 15mins it became apparent that the admission time of 6pm was a general time for 3 patients to be admitted and seen that evening between 6-9pm. I happened to be patient no.2, so was seen around 7.30 and released around 9, meaning I could not use the lift arranged (my wife &kids were ok til then, but not after). This then presented me with a choice of either taxi home or to ask someone at short notice to come and collect me. Had I known the range of procedure/release times in advance, I would have arranged a different, more appropriate, lift from the start. This leads to point no.2 2. I was not made aware of the choice on whether to have sedative or not. The literature states "you will be given a sedative" not that you have a choice. After the delay above, this then created a difficulty whereby if I took the sedative, I could not legally be released to an unknown taxi driver and would have to arrange another lift at short notice or not take the sedative. I opted to not take the sedative. Had I known this option was there, I could have driven myself to and from the appointment. It also would have saved my wife and kids spending time in the car on a busy evening. In connection with this, during the appointment, it sounded like release/recovery after the sedative was likely to be several hours, so release before 10-11pm was unlikely from the start and it was always probably going to be later if I took the sedative. Please don't take the above as criticism, just highlighting that making the choice on sedative clear would have allowed me to more easily plan both my transport. Also providing a bit more detail on the admission/procedure time range and release time range would have allowed me to more easily arrange appropriate transport. Basically, more information would have made things a bit easier is all

I was ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTED that the misleading named "Disabled" toilet is still used as a storage centre. I have formally complained about this to the CEO after struggling on a number of occasions to assist my elderly disabled mother. It is too cramped to get a wheelchair and carer in there. Having moved items out into the corridor I then struggled to transfer her from her wheelchair. Naturally she was getting more & more anxious to get on the toilet, knowing that she was about to see a consultant. I suggested to the anxious person outside that he ask to use another toilet. This is a private hospital, built AFTER the Disability Discrimination Act. How did this even pass building regulations & considered acceptable? All the designer had to do was to go next door & copy the design of the disabled toilet in QEQM. We were under enough stress having to attend the hospital appointment. This just compounded the stress for my mother and me. PLEASE attend to this ongoing problem. Why is it taking so long? UTTER DISGRACE & INSULTING to all disabled people and their carers.

My mum recently saw Dr Mumta Joshi for hypertension, and the experience was exceptional. Dr Joshi spent well beyond the allotted time with her, never once making the consultation feel rushed. Instead, she took real care to put my mum at ease, calm her nerves and understand the full picture behind her symptoms. What stood out most was how thorough and thoughtful she was. She reviewed all of my mum’s medical records systematically and asked questions that showed she was genuinely trying to get to the root cause of the hypertension, not just treat the numbers. Her explanations were clear, her suggestions were practical and positive, and she made sure my mum felt heard throughout. It’s rare to come away from a medical appointment feeling this confident and reassured, but that’s exactly what Dr Joshi achieved. We are incredibly grateful for her time, her empathy and her expertise. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a consultant who truly cares.

I have been seeing Yasemin for years and cannot recommend her highly enough. I have seen her for Botox/Profihlo treatments and the results have been nothing short of exceptional. Everything she does looks incredibly natural—never overdone—just a fresher, healthier version of me. The results last beautifully, and I honestly wouldn’t trust anyone else with my face. She is an absolute pleasure to visit: warm, reassuring, and truly skilled. Her precision and professionalism are unmatched, and she always takes the time to listen to my wishes and concerns. I also really appreciate her follow-up care; it shows how much she genuinely cares about her patients. If you’re looking for subtle, natural, long-lasting results, I cannot recommend her highly enough. More recently I have also seen her for a small surgical procedure, to remove a suspicious mole. Again, she operated on me with the utmost care and I couldn’t have asked for a better result.

I cannot recommend Dr Chloe Constantinou highly enough. From my very first consultation through to post-operative care, her approach was outstanding. I underwent oncoplastic surgery following a Breat Cancer diagnosis, and the results have truly exceeded my expectations. Dr Chloe combined amazing technical skills with aesthetics, which is so important. Not only is She incredibly professional, skilled & knowledgeable, but also exceptionally friendly and amiable. Dr Chloe took the time to listen to my concerns, explain everything clearly, and made me feel completely at ease during a very stressful time. I felt fully supported and well-informed throughout my entire journey. The care I received was faultless. Thank you Dr Chloe, for your expertise and compassionate approach.

Very pleasing experience. I was given plenty of time, and had a thorough examination of my ears, with the removal of wax, followed by a full hearing test. I returned a couple of weeks later, and having been shown several different hearing aids, went for ones that fit into the ear, with no wires or pieces behind the ear. I now have them on a months trial to see how I get on with them. I was quoted a price, which I understand I will pay if these are the correct ones for me, but only when I am totally satisfied. There is then a 3 monthly check included in the price. I believe I can try others if these are not right for me, and Mr Clive who I saw, was most helpful and understanding of a lady who hated the idea of wearing hearing aids!

After spending a great deal of time researching to find the best cardiologist, I’m pleased to say I couldn’t have made a better choice. Dr. Modi’s skill and outstanding reputation were evident throughout both of my procedures. Not once did I feel anything other than complete confidence that I had placed my trust in the right person. The professionalism of Dr. Modi and his entire team was exceptional. His communication was clear and reassuring, and he explained every aspect of the procedures, options, and possible outcomes in a way that kept me at ease from start to finish. I am truly grateful and feel very fortunate that our paths crossed during such a challenging time. My outcome was very positive — thank you!

The toilets were yet again filthy. For the second time I complained. I appreciate that nothing will change, but I discussed not only with the nurse, but also with front desk that the hygiene level was very low indeed. In a private facility this is a disgrace. Further, I found that any details given on a prior visit had not updated onto the current registration form. While I came in after 6.30 pm, i have seen the awful queues for registration at earlier times. Your reception person was on his own and was also on his own on the prior visit, and the paperwork took far too long. You need more than one person on the front desk. Overall, the clinic is poor.

My experience at the hospital was excellent from start to finish. The room was extremely comfortable and well appointed, which certainly helped with rest and recovery, but what truly made the experience exceptional was the nursing team. The nurses were absolutely superb in every way — kind, attentive, professional, and endlessly patient. Nothing was ever too much trouble, no matter the time of day or how small the request. I was made to feel safe, cared for, and genuinely supported throughout my stay. I am incredibly grateful for the outstanding care I received and would not hesitate to recommend this hospital to others.

There won’t be enough space here for me to do justice to Mr Tom Setchell. It is rare to find a Dr who is a technical genius coupled with a perfect blend of warmth and professionalism in his bedside manner. I trust his judgement entirely and have complete confidence in him. He deservedly has the very best reputation as a leading UK Obs and Gynae surgeon and if you are lucky enough to find yourself in his care you, like me, will feel incredibly fortunate that you found yourself way to him.

Mr Parmar saw me after referral for root pain under an old crown, which escalated some what after my dental referral. I was in a lot of pain and very anxious given that my dentist could not deal with the issue due to proximity to the nerve and facial numbness. Mr Parmar instantly reassured me and fitted me in for surgery the day after my initial consultation, which was lucky due to timing just before the Xmas break. Thank you for helping me get out of this pain before Xmas.

The consultant was clear, concise and took time to explain his diagnosis. He made sure I understood what my symptoms meant and the consequences longer term. We agreed to the best course of action by mutual consent, recognising the severity and inevitability of my situation. I left feeling my perspective was acknowledged and taken into consideration. I hope that the surgery required will be successful and in the not too distant future.
