I had my 6 week review with Mr Osburne and we spoke how I was getting on since the op and he listened and gave me advice on different things I could try.

Obviously my decision to have a gastric bypass was something that took time and a great deal of consideration. For me the process took over 2 years and a lot of support by Alan Osbourne and the Verve team during that time. The decision was mine but was fully informed and based on information, support, guidance and honest responses to my questions. There was no pressure to proceed, in fact the first time I was booked for surgery, I changed my mind, but was able to pick up where I left off without any judgment a few years later. Alan was a major part of my journey, always reassuring, answered my questions candidly and had an attentive, calm personas. When I had my surgery I was confident in both my decision and Alan’s ability as someone who was aware of what I needed and how to manage the process with the best possible outcome. I cannot thank Alan enough for his excellent care from the day I first met him right through to his post operative support and have no hesitation in highly recommending him and his team.

Mr Osborne explanations of what surgery was required, how it would be done, outcomes and possible risks was very thorough. I found him to be very reassuring and kind.
