I was apprehensive as my previous doctor was on extended leave however Mr Abdelbar was amazing and caring and understanding of my concerns. Mr Abdelbar was able to really concisely help me understand some of the things that happen in our bodies and that not all of us are the same and we dont all respond the same way to treatments. I felt that I was listened to and he made so much of my anxiety disappear. I would highly recommend Mr Abdelbar.

This was by far the best gynaecological examination and follow-up care I have ever experienced. He manages the whole process in such a kind, professional, and informative way. He listens patiently to every question and answers everything with great care and kindness. He even uses drawings to help you understand the issue visually, which makes everything much clearer and easier to follow. Consultation and treatment

I was recommended for surgical removal of a growth on my cervix by my GP. I decided to go private for this and chose Dr Abdelbsr based off of his expertise and reviews. Not only was I surprised by his congeniality but also his clear and concise explanations of every step and what to expect. I have to say that undergoing the procedure itself was so much less stressful than I had anticipated and the Dr was great. I cannot recommend him more wholeheartedly for his bedside manner, expertise and his sympathy. I felt that I was always in good hands.

If I made a list of what I’d want in a gynaecologist, Dr Ahmed would tick every single box. He has a very caring attitute and is someone I feel comfortable talking to. His positive but realistic approach has been reassuring during a difficult time. I feel lucky to have found him and look forward to his continued support during my high risk pregnancy.

I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience with Mr Abdelbar. I had an open myomectomy six weeks ago, with 11 fibroids removed, and from my first appointment through to surgery and follow-up, the whole process felt incredibly smooth and reassuring. As a doctor myself, I probably knew a little too much about all the possible risks and was quite anxious going into surgery, but Mr Abdelbar made me feel completely safe and well looked after. He was calm, kind, thorough and always took the time to explain everything clearly. He also came in to see me the following day, even though it was the weekend, which I really appreciated. I recovered incredibly well. Of course, everyone’s recovery will be different, but by exactly two weeks I was out and about at a christening and a party, and by four weeks I felt completely back to normal. My scar is healing beautifully. I am so, so grateful to Mr Abdelbar and his team and genuinely could not have asked for a more seamless patient journey. I would recommend him without hesitation.

I ultimately ended up having a C-section, which was something I had really hoped to avoid. However, I had always understood that there was a significant possibility of this happening because of medical reasons, and Dr Ahmed had explained this to me very clearly and honestly well in advance. Because I was prepared and understood the situation, I felt reassured rather than frightened when it became necessary. The C-section itself was incredibly smooth, and Dr Ahmed’s care did not stop once the surgery was over.
