Arrived half of the way through the recovery of open fracture of my second metatarsal and the consultant was able to bring a copy of the original and second xray from nhs and after a re xray was able to reassure me that I could wear normal shoes and go about life as normally as possible without overdoing it which was excellent news

My consultation was very professional, as I explained the problem I felt I was listened to and understood The consultant was knowledgeable and clearly explained to me what the next stage would be.

My visit with Mr. Sturdee was excellent. He provided professional care and gave me the outcome I was hoping for, with further investigations through xray and MRI for my foot pain. My only complaint was the non-existent communication from his secretary. I did not receive any appointment confirmation from her and I had to contact WPA in order to find out her contact details. I then tried to call her twice to find out any details about my appointment, and yet she still never called me back. Very poor service on her part. The only way I found out I had an appointment at all was because I rang the main reception at Elland Spire.

I felt comfortable talking to Mr Sturdee. He listened to my concerns, examined my foot, gave his opinion and explained what he thought needed to be done to progress the investigation into the cause of my infections.

I received outstanding care and treatment, and Mr Sturdee was professional, caring and reassuring throughout. I am extremely grateful for his expertise and would highly recommend him.
