It was a pleasure to speak to Mark today, He was very clear on the issues i have within my right Knee & explained what treatment i may require if the pain i have gets any worse
Excellent experience, Mark was very professional and explained everything clearly. Would 100% recommend
Mark was very well spoken and made me feel comfortable and confident in my recovery
Mr Farndon took time to clearly explain the nature of my injury, management and healing timeline. Thank you.
The visit was to understand what type of surgical intervention would be required to resolve restricted use of the left knee and what conditions would warrant going ahead.
Emailed Mark after a A+E diagnosis of a ruptured Achilles. He responded 10 mins after I emailed him in the evening and saw him the next day. He was superb from the onset and I knew I was in great hands. MRI scan followed the next day, and the results 2 days later to confirm a calf tear not a ruptured achilles. Mark was just superb and I would recommend him to anyone with foot, ankle lower leg issues. First class. Jason
Very knowledgeable and patient-centric -gives clear advice and cares about the outcomes for the patient. Positive attitude and a smile is given as well-v.welcome.
Mr Farndon has operated on both my knees and am very impressed with the service/treatment I have received. He is always very attentive and is readily available to discuss any details and give advice, both preop and post op, I would have no hesitation in recommending him.
Mr Farndon carried out a flat foot reconstruction for me in 2020. The surgery was entirely successful, so when I began to experience similar symptoms on my other foot, it was without hesitation that I made an appointment to see him for an assessment and diagnosis. I travelled some distance to see him, but left feeling completely reassured by his approach and explanation of my foot condition. The assessment has given me the confidence that I can recover and also that if I need him, he is there to help.
Mr Farndon is a very well respected and outstanding orthopaedic surgeon. He offers a high quality and efficient service at the Duchy.

CardiologistMark is an excellent clinician and surgeon. His skills lie in knowing when not to operate as much as when to and I've always had excellent feedback from patients I've referred to him about his manner as well as his open and measured approach
