About Professor Christopher P Gale
Professor Chris Gale is a Consultant Cardiologist and Professor of Cardiovascular Medicine at the University. He sees private patients at the BMI Duchy Hospital, where he practices general cardiology.
Professor Chris Gale gained his medical degree at the London Hospital Medical College and went on to train as a Junior Doctor. During this time he gained membership with the Royal College of Physicians, and also gained fellowship with with the Medical Research Council. Upon completion of his Ph.D in molecular biology, he continued on to undertake his speciality cardiology training. Since qualifying, he has also become well established in the teaching community, publishing over 200 papers in renowned scientific journals.
