I had my surgery on Tuesday and all the nurses were amazing, they took care of me helped me prepare myself for the surgery and then the after care was also amazing. The nurses came in every 10 minutes to check if I was ok, if I needed any food or water, or simply help me to the toilet. They stayed right to the end until I left. Thank u so much to all the nurses that cared for me that day. The room was very clean. My doctor, Dr Kelvin Chong was the best, he listened to what I wanted, advised me for the best option for me. He made me feel comfortable which was what I felt I needed as the surgery was very personal and I needed to feel safe which Dr Chong made me feel. He stayed until I was fit enough to go home. My experience here at One Stop Healthcare was just perfect.

I attended Mr Dowen's clinic today and the service I received was absolutely fantastic. Mr Dowen organised my imaging before I even attended and then promptly saw me in person. Mr Dowen was extremely professional during the history taking and examination part of the consultation and ensured I was comfortable and not in pain throughout. I also appreciated him asking me about the impact my symptoms were having on me and what my key concerns and challenges were. He explained my diagnosis in a way I could understand and then provided a detailed explanation of how best to manage it, as well as what to look out for which may warrant a return to clinic. A fantastic service by an extremely experienced and knowledgeable surgeon. Thank you Mr Dowen.

St Giles Physiotherapy provided excellent care for my painful wrist, and I would highly recommend them to anyone needing physiotherapy in Northampton. From the outset Georgia understood my issue which meant we could maximize the appointment time for hands-on treatment. She used a variety of different techniques during the session, which made the treatment feel thorough and targeted rather than one‑dimensional. I was also given clear follow-up advice and tailored exercises to continue at home, which has really helped my recovery between appointments. Everyone I dealt with at the clinic was caring, friendly and genuinely interested in helping me, which made the whole experience feel very supportive as well as professional.

Lucy Clarke was recommended to me after a failed diagnosis and plastic surgery to my accident related damaged left eye lid. Lucy diagnosed the damage was to a muscle in the eyelid and her and her team carried out the surgery to correct this. Lucy and her team were so understanding and caring throughout the whole procedure and I was returning home within 2 hours of my appointment. I cannot thank Lucy enough for everything she did for me and once my healing is complete I will have the confidence and self esteem to enjoy my life again. Thank you to everyone at NEWMEDICA XX

I received exemplary care under Mr Menezes for inguinal hernia surgery. His explanation of his recommended surgery at the Initial consultation was clear and concise. On the day of the operation Mr Menezes was reassuring. The surgery went well and I had no pain, only moderate discomfort for 2 days. I was able to walk during this time and progression to longer walks and exercise has been faster than expected. During the post-op follow-up, Mr Menezes explained the details of the surgery and gave clear advice on how to progress over the next few weeks to full fitness. .

Overall reassuring and understood the approach for myself as a person and could see I was anxious and knew how to deal with this. Did not feel rushed which also helped. One point to raise is that in the follow up letter it mentions my next appointment which is face to face on the 11th March being at the ridgeway hospital, however I have had a confirmation email sent inviting me to attend this appointment at the Manor hospital, so will have to chase up to now see where this is taking place. Overall though very good experience.

Everything was first class from reception to the nurse checks to the kind person who took me to surgery, the surgeon was nice to talk to, the team in the surgery room were efficient and kind. Back on ward the nurses were so lovely. I had a wobble (previous trauma) which unexpectedly made me emotional. They were so kind, non judgmental and all in particular Anna took time to be human - show human support from one female to another. It was appreciated.

Time with Mr Nicholls...excellent. However looking back I suspect that wound attention ( especially first special bleeding ) could have been much better had wound been cleaned and re bandaged then as opposed to over bandaging. I feel this would have led to avoiding the lengthly time needed to get recovery back on track during many extra visits.
