About Corrective Pain Relief

Corrective Pain Relief is an independent osteopathy and musculoskeletal clinic in Manchester City Centre, providing personalised assessment, hands-on treatment and rehabilitation for a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions.

Founded by Registered Osteopath Adrian Lee, who has over 10 years of clinical experience, the clinic works with patients experiencing back pain, neck pain, sciatica, headaches associated with the neck, TMJ and jaw pain, shoulder pain, joint and muscle pain, sports injuries, tendon-related conditions and other movement-related musculoskeletal problems.

Every patient begins with an individual consultation and assessment to understand their symptoms, medical history, movement, lifestyle and goals. Treatment is then tailored to the individual rather than following a one-size-fits-all approach.

Services available at Corrective Pain Relief include osteopathy, joint mobilisation and manipulation, soft tissue therapy, acupuncture and dry needling, cupping therapy, Gua Sha/IASTM, kinesiology taping, mobility and movement advice, and personalised exercise rehabilitation.

The clinic works with a broad range of patients, from office workers and people experiencing everyday or persistent musculoskeletal pain to runners, gym-goers, recreationally active individuals and competitive athletes. Care may focus on managing symptoms, improving movement and function, supporting rehabilitation or helping patients return confidently to work, sport and everyday activities.

Where further investigation or specialist input may be appropriate, Corrective Pain Relief also works alongside a trusted Manchester healthcare network, with established referral pathways for diagnostic imaging, injection therapy, private medical care and other specialist musculoskeletal services.

Corrective Pain Relief is located at 56 Port Street, Manchester, M1 2EQ, within Manchester City Centre and close to the Northern Quarter, Ancoats, New Islington and Manchester Piccadilly.

The clinic accepts eligible patients with private health insurance including Bupa, AXA Health, Aviva, Vitality, WPA and Cigna, subject to individual policy terms and authorisation.

I met Adrian last year to treat my hips pain as a result of running that I had for several months. I could feel the result and relief in the first session, and I only had to go back a couple more times to feel completely healed after doing the exercises he prescribed. I've then started seing Adrian again for the past few months to help me with new injuries related to my triathlon training and he's been really helpful! We are doing a mix of therapies such as massage, stretching, cupping and acupuncture, which I really enjoy.

We’re delighted to hear how quickly your initial running-related hip pain improved and that combining osteopathic treatment with the prescribed rehabilitation exercises helped you make a full recovery. It’s also great to now be supporting you through the different demands of triathlon training. With running, cycling and swimming placing different stresses on the body, Adrian’s approach is always tailored to what you need at the time, combining hands-on treatment, stretching, cupping, acupuncture and appropriate rehabilitation where beneficial. Thank you again for returning to Adrian with your more recent sports injuries and for sharing your experience. We really appreciate your recommendation and look forward to keeping you moving, training and doing what you enjoy! 🙏💪

My recent visits have focussed on hip flexibility due to trauma from a child. Adrian has been fantastic in understanding the problem and working with me to treat without surgery and to empower me to understand how I can manage and improve the joint issue.

I’ve been seeing Adrian for many years for a recurring back problem, and my recent visit was another excellent experience. Thankfully, these days it’s more about regular maintenance, which has made a huge difference in keeping my back in good shape and preventing problems from returning. As always, Adrian was incredibly thorough, completely painless in his approach and clearly an expert in his field. He knows exactly what needs doing, explains everything clearly and makes you feel completely at ease. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, professional and genuinely caring chiropractor.

Went to Adrian for an osteopathy treatment because my back had been giving me loads of pain and he sorted it no problem. The treatment included cupping and acupuncture and it honestly made a huge difference. Really nice guy, very kind and caring and made me feel comfortable straight away. You can tell he knows what he’s doing. He worked on all the problem areas properly and my back felt so much better afterwards. Proper professional service and I’ll definitely be going back again. Highly recommend.

I went to see Adrian at Corrective Pain Relief after injuring my ankle while training for the Keswick Three Peaks. I was hobbling at the time and worried the injury might stop me from completing the challenge. Adrian assessed my ankle and identified that I had sprained the ligaments. He provided treatment along with clear rehabilitation exercises and advice to help me recover and gradually return to training. I was able to complete the Keswick Three Peaks and have been pain-free since! I’d highly recommend Adrian if you’re looking for an osteopath in Manchester for an ankle injury, sports injury, or rehabilitation.
