I would like to pass on my sincere thanks to Dr James Noake at Pure Sports Medicine for his ongoing efforts in diagnosing a long-standing misdiagnosed knee injury following several unsuccessful procedures. Dr Noake identified relevant pathology on imaging that, unfortunately, had been missed by several other private consultants elsewhere. He then carefully administered a diagnostic injection, taking considerable time to ensure pinpoint precision through a cyst and a very small joint space. Dr Noake is clearly a very busy and sought-after clinician, yet he ensured I received an extensive first face-to-face consultation, with ample time in clinic to explore the problem thoroughly using ultrasound. He also went above and beyond by reviewing both previous and updated MRI scans, speaking to me at short notice via Zoom call during the festive period in order to review images and discuss options. I found this attention to detail and direct liaison to be exceptional as more than once I have had to wait 6-weeks between appointments at other private clinics or hospitals. Dr Noake is clearly dedicated to his craft and approaches his work with diligence, precision, and honesty. From the first point of contact, he inspired confidence through his willingness to answer questions, think critically beyond the obvious, and work collaboratively to reach informed decisions. I would highly recommend Dr Noake to anyone seeking help with complex, long-standing, or less common knee or nerve-related injuries.

Prof Field carries out a high volume of hip replacements annually, which, along with his research and other interests, gives him the breadth of experience and insight to be able to advise you in terms of treatment options and capability. I am so thankful for his advice to have both hips done together, he took away any anxiety I had and has significantly reduced the total impact of bilateral hip surgery in terms of down time. He is an exponent of the anterior approach and my personal experience has been, that with an independent local physiotherapist, at 3w post op, I was about a week ahead of where she expected me to be in terms of exercise capability, and any pain I’ve experienced has been very manageable. So quite a smooth recovery. Prof Field is a totally dedicated professional, who has personally kept in touch with me before surgery, after surgery at the hospital, and also after discharge, to check progress and give helpful advice. Everything ran very smoothly & Dr.O'Donnell was very professional & talked me through everything that he was doing. Dr O'Donnell reassured me & was very fast & efficient. I couldn't recommend him enough as he is brilliant at what he does. The nurses were very nice too. We paid £240 to the consultant and gained no extra knowledge or benefit. She basically couldn’t help because she said I needed fertility and not recurrent miscarriage. She said there was a fertility consultant there I should have booked with. Then why not offer to not charge me and book me with right person? Isn’t that what healthcare should be about rather than about taking my money? There is no triage service in place to make sure I got the right appointment. I feel robbed at a time where I am vulnerable.

Dr Georgiou was extremely kind and generous with his time, despite this being a second-opinion consultation.
