I came to KT with an ongoing pain in my glute from running. I had been to another physio for months with no improvement and was feeling quite helpless. She immediately diagnosed it as Deep Glute Syndrome and reassured me that we could treat it. She put me at ease straight away and I could tell that I was in safe hands, and with someone who was incredibly skilled and loved what they do. Her knowledge and experience is so impressive. I also had some lower back issues which she helped me with massively (I’ve had these for years). She helped make a plan for recovery that suited my lifestyle and other exercise to make sure I could continue exercising. She often provided manual therapy which was brilliant too. She was always checking in with me and working to make eveything tailored for me. She was always available by email. She is incredibly kind and always made me feel comfortable and heard which I hadn’t had this before from other physio treatment. She also considered that I was funding the treatment myself and discussed this with me. I genuinely can’t praise KT enough, and would recommend her to anyone with sports injuries. I don’t have the words to thank her for her help and support.

We are extremely grateful to Mr. Shobith Verma and the entire orthopaedic team at Luton & Dunstable Hospital. My son was born with severe club foot in both feet, and his condition was very worrying from the beginning. His treatment started on the 5th day after his birth. Today, at just 2 years old, my son can walk, run, do all his daily activities, and has even started playing football. Seeing this progress feels like a miracle to us, and it has only been possible because of the timely involvement, dedication, and expertise of Mr. Verma. Mr. Verma not only treated our son but also guided us through every step, gave us strength, and supported us during one of the toughest times of our lives. His reassurance, encouragement, and commitment made a huge difference to our family. I would also like to sincerely thank every member of the team who took care of my son. She asked thoughtful, probing questions and created a space where I felt comfortable being open and honest about who I am and why I came for the assessment. The session felt calm, structured and genuinely personalised, with clear explanations and a holistic perspective that connected the dots rather than treating things in isolation. I left feeling listened to, reassured, and confident about the next steps.

Just a couple of things… Firstly, during the pre-assessment appointment with the specialist nurse, I was informed that a catheter would be inserted by the anaesthetist - which is incorrect! (think it’s the nurse, but it was important to me as I knew the anaesthetist personally) Secondly, please move the wall clock in the room! Following surgery when you’re lying awake during what feels like an endless night, it would be good to be able to know what time it is.

This was my first experience of the Hillsborough Private Clinic and the staff were very professional, knowledgeable and welcoming. While this is an older style building is was well set out and immaculately clean and while I appreciate that space is at a premium a groundlevel toilet facility would be an asset as while I have no mobility issues I can see where climbing stairs to the bathroom could be an issue for some.

Dr anastasua mermigka was excellent, professional, took her time to ask all necessary questions, examine, explain the results and answered all our questions and concerns, she did not rush us and gave us detailed answers that we could understand. She is organised, very knowledgeable and experienced and her way is unique and reassuring. Not many doctors like her are around. we highly recommend her!

The doctor who performed my ultrasound screening was very professional, attentive and helpful. He gave me the information I needed and answered all the questions I had so that I could leave the room worry-free.

Nurses were all keen to offer care, and talk, which I appreciated, it's easy to get in your own head, and I appreciated the distraction! One thing I would comment on is that there is always a long wait. I was asked to arrive at 8:30am, but I didn't actually have my procedure until 10:30, which gave lots of time to think. A more streamlined appointment process would be helpful

Had to have two fillings today with Mafalda. It’s the first time ever that I can attend a dentist have my teeth done and not feel nervous. The whole experience from all the staff is amazing. It’s more like visiting a spa than a dentist. They make you feel so relaxed and at ease. I never thought I would love going to the dentist. Well done to all the team and thank you. Xx

Changing to a low histamine diet really helped me and she gave me so many resources and was always happy to answer any questions I had.
