The whole process was seamless, from the first phone call to Karen Keenan, she was so professional, friendly and explained the procedure, the cost and paperwork involved. On arrival for my mums consultation the staff were so welcoming, we had come up from the south, my parents tea were offered tea on arrival, the facilities are top class, clean and bright. My mum met with the nurse Eileen she was also so professional and put my mam at ease straight away. Dr. David Armstrong was amazing, he explained everything involved in the procedure and my mum couldn't stop praising him, his calming and professional friendly manor made the experience so easy and she remained so calm going back in for the procedure the following day. We can't thank you enough for a fantastic service and facilities. The HSE should be ashamed of themselves they have let down old age pensioners. These people contributed to the system for years paying their taxes and they are now left on waiting list for over 2 years. I work with elderly people, and I most certainly will be spreading the good word of Kings bridge. Thank you kings bridge diagnostic and treatment centre for your 5 star service.

I went because my left ear had become blocked the previous day. I made an enquiry by email and got a call back very shortly afterwards offering me an appointment that afternoon. When I arrived, I filled in a consent form and didn't have to wait long for the microsuction. I was asked a few questions about my circumstances and then talked through the procedure. It was a little stressful but quite straightforward and didn't take long.

The reason I didn't give five stars to all the points is that the hospital slightly fell down on its admin/paperwork. On my first visit the address of my GP practice was incorrect, although I had given the correct one; the discharge notes were almost illegible; and I was not given an advice leaflet from Bright-Eyes on how to proceed with eye management for the first 24hrs or so, until I was able to speak to Mr Bender.

This was a pre-booked left eye cataract operation. I was warmly welcomed and kept informed of what was going to happen throughout. All staff were friendly and engaging even in theatre. The whole thing took less than 2 hours. Information on what to expect next and follow up advice was pretty comprehensive and well explained.

I had an extraction and had not expected to feel pain during the procedure because a numbing agent had been administered. However, the process was very painful, albeit for just a few seconds - the staff upstairs heard me yell.. I would not recommend the process.
