I had a total right hip replacement on the 23rd of June which I was apprehensive about but honestly Mr Apthorp was so kind and sensitive and the procedure couldn’t have gone better. My husband did all of the research before we went with Mr Apthorp and it became clear that he is indeed a top surgeon and the best that you can get. I was up and walking in days, with a really small scar.. People can’t believe how quickly I am recovering! The hospital were amazing. The staff were all so kind, attentive and caring from the moment I arrived to the moment I left (late morning the next day) and honestly I can recommend this experience to anyone if you have to have the procedure done.

Mr Apthorp explained all options and processes very clearly. He was knowledgeable, professional, caring and reassuring.

This procedure is the Gold Standard of Hip replacement Considering the alternative for replacement and the recovery issues Mr Apthorp’s method is exceptional as excellent does not do it justice. As presented this procedure is Minimally invasive, with minimal post op discomfort, after two days, for ease of discomfort rather than pain paracetamol suffices. Supported by his excellent team.and London Bridge Hospital nursing and support staff be sensible follow instructions and be amazed Walking unaided in 4/5 days driving in 10 I go back to work after 3 weeks

The London Bridge Hospital provided me with outstanding care, very friendly staff and a really good three course menu in the evening and at lunchtime.
