I cannot recommend Mr Hugh Apthorp and his team highly enough following my recent hip operation. From the very first consultation through to the surgery and aftercare, every member of the team was absolutely brilliant. They made me feel completely at ease at every stage of the process. The professionalism, kindness and reassurance they showed meant I felt relaxed and confident that I was in the very best hands. It was clear throughout that they genuinely had my best interests at heart and were focused on achieving the best possible outcome for me. The care, communication and attention to detail from the whole team were exceptional. I’m incredibly grateful for the support I received and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone considering similar treatment.

I was admitted in for a full left hip replacement

Mr Apthorp is a fantastic surgeon. He has replaced both mine and I have in each case a tiny scar, after 6 weeks nearly full mobility and I’ve had no pain. Very skilful, efficient and nice to deal with.

The whole experience from start to end has been fantastic. Hugh’s explanations and patient management was clear and informative (no question too difficult). All communications by his team and dealing with logistics such as insurance approvals etc were handled seamlessly. The staff at the hospital were excellent all round.
