About Mr Mazin Ibrahim
Mr Mazin Ibrahim is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at The Princess Grace Hospital. He is an advocate for day-case arthroplasty surgery, and is interested in enhancing patient recovery following joint arthroplasty surgery. He considers robotic surgery an integral part of enhanced patient recovery.
Mr Ibrahim completed his higher surgical training at University College London. He trained at the University College London Hospitals, The Royal London Hospital, Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Trust and Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children. He has completed two fellowships in lower limb arthroplasty and sports surgery: the first at the renowned Rorabeck Bourne Arthroplasty Centre, part of the London Health
Sciences Centre in Ontario, Canada; and the second at London's University College Hospital.
Mr Ibrahim is also a substantive lower limb arthroplasty and sports surgery consultant at the Whittington Health and the University College London Hospitals NHS Trust joint venture. He has published many research studies and book chapters, and has presented his work in the academic arena. He is passionate about teaching, and has a postgraduate degree in Medical Education from Staffordshire University. He is on the faculty for several courses, including at the Royal College of Surgeons.

I had an appointment with Mr. Ibrahim who correctly diagnosed the severity of the injury and worked with me to schedule operation the following day as prompt surgery was recommended. Mr. Ibrahim is extremely knowledgeable and has experience dealing with complex cases such as mine. His smile put my worries to rest and his mannerisms are extremely professional. He clearly explained all the risks before the operation and went above and beyond during operation with a very capable team to address all the issues. The operation went well and post surgery, Mr. Ibrahim said that it's unlikely I will require any further surgery and that I will get back to sports as before. Post surgery, wound check went well. I am working with a rehab specialist. His secretary communicates promptly to any queries. I highly recommend Mr. Ibrahim and his team and I look forward to the 6 week milestone. So far so good! I had no hesitation in rating as ‘excellent’ all the requests on the previous page. Mr Ibrahim was caring, readily available even over a holiday period as was my case, and he absolutely clear in his explanations of the procedure and any possible complications. Asa result I am now away on vacation in the Caribbean with full movement only five weeks after the operation. Quite remarkable !!!

I came to Dr. Ibrahim for a hip replacement and had an excellent experience from the start and being a return client as he also operated my sons knee a couple of years ago. I can highly recommend him and am walking again after 2 weeks time without crutches.
