I’m very happy with the result of my surgery with Professor Ben Miranda and the experience I’ve had throughout the whole process. From my first consultation, Professor Miranda was very straightforward about what the surgery would involve, the recovery and what I could realistically expect from the final result. I really appreciated that he gave me a realistic idea of the process from the beginning, rather than making everything sound easier than it would be. I had a mastopexy with auto-augmentation and torso liposuction. One thing I probably didn’t fully appreciate beforehand was how significant the scars would look on my body, and initially this was something I found difficult. However, Professor Miranda had always emphasised how important aftercare and scar care would be, and I think this has made a big difference to my recovery. My recovery has also been much quicker and smoother than I expected. I had no bleeding or complications, my wounds healed very well, I had no issues with my scars and I wasn’t in pain for long. Considering the extent of the surgery, I feel like I had a very speedy recovery, which I’m sure is also a reflection of Professor Miranda’s experience and expertise. What stood out to me throughout the process was how committed and meticulous Professor Miranda is. It’s clear that he takes a lot of pride in his work and is very focused on achieving the best possible result. I saw Professor Miranda again at five weeks post-op and he was very happy with how everything had healed. Now at six weeks, I’m almost back to normal life and overall I’m genuinely very happy with the work he has done. I would definitely recommend Professor Miranda to anyone considering this type of surgery, particularly if you want a surgeon who is experienced, straightforward about expectations and really committed to achieving a good result.

Mr El Gizawy was recommended to myself through a number of colleagues for his care, professionalism and expertise with complex endometriosis. Mr El Gizawy is very kind, caring and knowledgeable throughout my experience. He presented a range of options to me and clearly outlined the risks and benefits of all the avaliable treatments to myself along with his professional recommendations, at no point during my care did he try to dictate what I should do, simply present me with recommendations based on his years of expertise whilst always valuing my opinion. Preservation of my fertility was an important factor in choosing my treatment and I opted for surgery. Unfortunately I did not have the luxury of medical insurance, as a self care patient Mr El Gizawy did his best to ensure I was informed about costs prior to consenting to treatment an of course reminded me that if at any point cost became too much he would of course see me in on his NHS surgical waitlist. I am now recovering very well from a complex robotic endometriosis excision surgery including a bowel resection. I would thoroughly recommend Mr El-Gizawy to anyone looking for treatment of their endometriosis and any other gynaecological conditions

I am a long term patient and have known both the practice and Dr Jeremy Harris approx 30 years. My appointments are always, on time, professional and friendly. Yesterday I went with a painful left hip, a result of Osteomylitis I had when I was 13 years old and spent 3 months in hospital. Jeremy immediately referred me for an X Ray which I have just had at the New Vic. I am also having longer term treatment and medication there, as a result of Jeremy's referral for my very painful stomach . My daughter Diana, who is mildly learning disabled, is also a patient and receives excellent treatment whenever she goes. thank you . Mr James is always efficient and explains everything thoroughly and listens to any questions I may have. Extremely pleased with him and his team on the day of my operation and the aftercare I have had. My post op appointment today as always was good and he explained with my x rays how things had gone during and after the op. I explained I was concerned about three episodes of feeling that my legs had gone weak and felt I would collapse. Two before my op and one subsequent. Mr James then sent me for two further x rays and after I saw him again said that all was ok. Everything was efficient and I am very pleased with the outcome of my operation. Thank you Mr James
