Had an appointment for hip injections. I was seen on time. The consultant Mr Howell and radiologists Rachel and Natalie were all amazing. They were welcoming, friendly, professional and warm. They helped me to relax, feel comfortable, assured and confident. I have had the absolute pleasure of meeting many of the staff at St Hugh's and would recommend the hospital to anyone. The people are so genuine, lovely, human, friendly and professional. You are welcomed by the reception staff immediately upon arrival and the experience continues throughout. I appreciate that the staff work in a relatively calm setting, but they make the experience. This is a really well run hospital overseen by the director Ellen and her deputy Sarah. The consultants are of the highest quality. This is an amazing local resource which must be protected. The hospital undertake vital NHS work as well as private work. NHS pressures challenge the continued operation of St Hugh's, which would be a tragedy. Thanks and best wishes to everyone! Xx

I cannot praise Mr Talawadekar, known more fondly as Mr T, highly enough. What an ambassador for the NHS! From the start of my referral for progressive dupytrons contracture over 12 months ago, through to surgery on the 27th October and post op consultation, he has shown such kindness and compassion wrapped up with a wonderful sense of humour. (the delay in my review is due to being out of the country) His knowledge and expertise in the condition as he engages with you at the consultations, is obvious. As is his passion and devotion to his craft. I did not have one second of anxiety about my surgery or doubt that Mr T would do an excellent job, and he did not let me down. Within a few weeks I had almost full use of my hand with a slight restriction being around the post op swelling. After 8 weeks and continuing physio I now have no swelling or scarring and a completely straight finger. I will be eternally grateful to Mr T and his wonderful skill as an outstanding surgeon.

Dr Siddiqi from the first moment I met him has had a profound affect on me and my wife. He is very professional and has faith in his ability and has had faith in me to follow the course of treatment he has prescribed. He explains each course of action and what it entails. He has contacted me, not just for appointments but to give me results as soon as he has got them, always treating me with respect and patience. My illness is treatable but not curable, he has empathy with myself and was happy to meet members of my family to explain my situation. He does not suffer fools gladly and is, I would suspect a perfectionist. I have every faith in him to continue with my treatment and hold him in the highest regard.

Mr Tsepov was recommended to me by a previous patient. I’m happy he was. His team worked well together like a well oiled machine with personal touches to ensure I knew the process, what to expect etc. Due to my work schedule there were occasions that I couldn’t see Mr Tsepov in person and they accommodated me with a quick turnaround to a video call. I’ve had previous surgeries and this was the least invasive surgery I’ve had. I was able to walk around on Day 2 and since then have had a steady climb to healing. The team were great and were a message away if I had any questions and this was really appreciated. I would 100 percent recommend Mr Tsepov and in fact have recommended him to two other colleagues already!

Booked an appointment and was seen 2 days later. Dr Chopra was very friendly, took a case history and examined my skin condition. He made suggestions as to the cheapest course of action, which he personally wouldn't have financially benefitted from, which showed real integrity as a doctor. I went ahead with a biopsy, which was quickly and skilfully performed, and dissolving sutures were deliberately used as to save me from needing a return visit, thus reducing costs and time. Dr Chopra clearly cares not only about his patients but also seeks to provide medical attention in the most cost effective manner for his patients.

I have brilliant treatment and conversations with Dr. Konstantis. Since he became my oncologist a while back he has been and is excellent with me as his patient, I do not worry at all when visits for treatment are made and living with breast cancer and secondary bone cancer in my pelvis and sturngham I am so very confident with him, he is basically keeping me going and I really appreciate his time. He is very caring, compassionate, patient and when worried about anything, explains brilliantly so worries dispel. What a really super human being he is a star. Thank you so much for being my oncologist.

On arrival I was taken into a room by the Sister and given an examination, drops and told not to rub my eyes after the Laser. Just a few minutes later I went into see Mr Cazaban, after examination I was told that both eyes now need treatment and agreed to this. the actual Laser treatment was slightly uncomfortable but to be expected. After this Mr Cazaban told me that my surgery was completed and that I should never need further laser treatment. The only complaint I would have was after the initially being told not to rub my eyes I was given no after care information.

There was no sense of being rushed, and everything was explained clearly and calmly. Prof Chris Eden was all that I had been led to believe, understanding and sympathetic but wholly focused and professional. He explained the process and outlined the risks of the proposed surgery in clear layman's language that I could understand.. He did not sugar the pill! He carefully reviewed my medical history and identified several issues upon which he has requested additional investigation. I came away totally confident not only in his personal ability but also in the decisions that I have now made regarding my treatment plan. First impressions are very good.

It was a private appoint & I paid for the ILR device. That was fine but I have been disappointed with the follow up since which seems to provide no reassurance that the ILR results are being looked at / reviewed so it is a case of assuming "no news is good news". In my view this is poor, if not unsatisfactory and it seems to me an initial 3 month review email followed by half yearly emails would be welcomed by patients. Also issue of contact phone numbers would be helpful e.g. technical. episode queries

We are so grateful to have found Paediatric Diagnostics to support us with our little one’s tongue tie. We were welcomed warmly by the practicing nurse and were swiftly met by Dr Khemani. Our little one was examined and treated with great care. His tongue tie release was completed within minutes and he was happily feeding moments after. We felt at ease for the duration and would highly recommend their services.
