I was extremely nervous about having my Mirena coil fitted, but I honestly had no need to be. From the moment I arrived, the doctor was so kind, gentle and reassuring. She explained everything clearly and completed the procedure incredibly quickly and smoothly. What impressed me most was how gentle she was throughout. I had built it up in my mind for weeks, but she made the whole experience far easier than I expected. It was obvious that she is exceptionally skilled and experienced at what she does. I've suffered with painful periods for most of my life, and after years of not having answers, she was the first doctor to finally diagnose the underlying problem. That alone has made such a difference to me and made me feel heard and understood. I can't thank her enough for her professionalism, compassion and expertise. I would highly recommend her to anyone, especially if you're feeling anxious about having a coil fitted. In fact I have recommended Sally to quite a few of my friends and they have gone on to see her and were so happy with her service.

I have been under the care of many gynaecologists in relation to endometriosis and other issues, Miss Watkinson was the first consultant who did not question me nor make me feel as though I was making things up. She listened to me, assured me and treated me. I cannot express how grateful I am, and how much I appreciated her kindness and support throughout my treatment. Sally Watkinson has been looking after me for over 6 years after finding i had fibroids amongst other issues. Her knowledge and professionalism is fabulous as well as her compassionate and kind and genuine caring manner. Sally performed my hysterectomy and i knew i was in good hands. I now want to carry on having an annual check with her as i know i can trust that my health will be well cared for.

I had an ongoing pain in my left ovary and I had tried to get this sorted through my GP, however no one could explain why I was experiencing the pain and what was causing it. Sally on the other hand explained exactly what was happening and why I was experiencing it and also gave great advice about other topics that I just wasn't receiving from my GP.
