Mr Okechukwu Okonkwo

Mr. Okechukwu Okonkwo is a highly regarded Consultant ENT Surgeon, offering comprehensive care of ear, nose, and throat (ENT) disorders. While providing a broad spectrum of ENT services, Mr. Okonkwo's expertise shines in addressing conditions that specifically affect the nose, sinuses, and face. He covers various issues, such as sinusitis, nasal polyps, rhinitis, blocked noses, deviated noses, skin cancer, hayfever, smell and taste disorders and allergies.

Mr. Okonkwo began his medical career at the University of Newcastle, where he excelled and graduated with merit from medical school. He also completed a Master's in Research, earning a distinction for his exceptional work. His specialist training in ENT surgery took place in Manchester, during which he honed his skills and knowledge in the field.

Following his training, Mr. Okonkwo pursued two internationally recognised fellowships to refine his expertise further. He completed a fellowship in facial plastic surgery in London, gaining valuable experience in addressing facial aesthetic concerns. He also undertook a fellowship in complex sinus and skull-base surgery, equipping him with advanced skills in managing intricate conditions involving the sinuses and skull base.

Mr. Okonkwo's dedication to advancing the field of ENT is evident through his contributions to research and medical innovation. He has made notable contributions to his field through published work and active participation in national research projects.

Furthermore, Mr. Okonkwo is deeply committed to medical education. He serves as an honorary lecturer and examiner for the University of Bristol, contributing to the education and training of future medical professionals. Additionally, he plays a crucial role in the development of medical assessments as an exam writer for the General Medical Council. His passion for education extends to his involvement as faculty at national ENT courses.
