Mr Gleeson listened to my concerns. Gave good advice when asked.
As someone in the sporting and fitness industry. I was quite nervous at first when hearing of my ACL injuru. Mr Gleeson was absolutely amazing in helping me understand and feel at ease with the injury and operation. He was amazing friendly and also professional in explaining to me the process and can not thank him enough for how fantastic a job he did.
Six months ago I asked Mr Gleeson to get me more mobile with my arthritic knee problem and he certainly delivered with sound advice. Lose weight, concentrated physiotherapy, positive mindset and above all anything to prolong the life of my knee. The knee will eventually possibly need replacing but in the meantime I will be carrying on with Mr Gleeson's recommendations!!!
Answered all my questions and explained well how things have gone with my recovery. He was very encouraging and wasn't afraid to tell me of any limitations I may have.
I was early for my appointment but luckily I was seen straight away by Mr Gleeson. This was a follow-up after my knee replacement operation carried out In October 2023. I reported that the new knee had given me a new lease of life and after the operation and recovery I was pain free. I enjoy rising early and walking at least four miles every morning.
Mr Gleeson explained everything around my knee surgery extremely well. He initially advised on the best physiotherapy provider but when my knee became more stable we decided to go for ACL replacement. The surgery went very well and I knew exactly what to expect. A very positive experience with a good outcome. Ongoing physio has been key.
My final visit was a review 1 year post surgery. The X-rays showed my knee replacement was stable and had healed well. Mr Gleeson reassured me that I should now be confident to do most things that I did before.
Excellent surgeon and great colleague. I would highly recommend Mr Gleeson.
