During my recent experience at Cleveland Clinic London, I was under the care of Professor James Teo and Dr. Dipesh Patel for my diagnosis of myelitis. I’d like to share a review of the care, diagnosis, and treatment I received during my short inpatient stay and subsequent outpatient follow-up. Diagnosis: The professionalism and expertise of both Professor Teo and Dr. Patel were evident. They took the time to thoroughly review my medical history, listen attentively to my symptoms, and conduct a series of comprehensive tests. The diagnostic process was meticulous, involving advanced imaging and laboratory analyses, all explained clearly, which left me feeling confident about my care. I was admitted as an inpatient for a couple of days, and my stay was exceptionally comfortable and reassuring. The modern hospital environment and top-notch facilities contributed to a positive experience. The nursing staff was attentive and highly trained, providing outstanding care around the clock. I appreciated their responsiveness to my needs, ensuring I felt comfortable during my brief stay. Daily visits from Professor Teo and Dr. Patel allowed me to discuss my progress and any concerns I had, reinforcing my sense of being valued and cared for. Following my inpatient stay I transitioned smoothly into outpatient care. My follow-up appointments have been invaluable, with thorough evaluations of my ongoing recovery. The clinic’s proactive communication, including test results, appointment reminders and prompt responses to my queries, has greatly supported my journey. They also provided me with educational resources to help manage my condition effectively. In conclusion, my experience at Cleveland Clinic London, particularly under the care of Professor Teo and Dr. Patel, has been exemplary. Their dedication to providing personalized and compassionate care, paired with their expertise, has made a significant difference in my ongoing recovery journey. I went privately for a hip replacement. The staff were all so friendly and helpful. I was met in reception by a lovely man who took my bag for me an led me to my room. I was admitted by staff who each came to introduce themselves and explain what they would be doing. The room was lovely with a view onto the woodland just outside where a herd of small deer ran past one morning. The food was excellent and the staff were plentiful and friendly. If I had not been there for surgery, I would still have been happy to stay in that room! The surgery was fine and the aftercare was very efficiently handled by all concerned. When I did need to press my buzzer for attention, someone responded promptly and fetched the relevant staff members to help me. I felt safe and well cared for. It was the first time I have had surgery and I was apprehensive but the staff were all calm and reassuring.

Mrs Polly Ford was fine. I am very disappointed to wait a year and half to see someone about chronic pain that is effecting my every day life terrible. Leaving unable to work and care for my child how a mother should.. and I’m told to go back to my gp for pain med.. my dr ASKs me what i need regarding pain meds they are great, women with this condition need guidance and support. A plan is n place ?? It’s like a free for all with pain meds ?! Madness its Not just drugs… we need with this condition.. so sad.. i know NHS is on its knees. Im so greatful for everyone that works for them. They do the best they can with what they have. However my care needs are not being meet by Gynaecology. And I do request to speak to somebody else.

my physio therapist was most helpful. I have been seeing him about once every 2 months. He always asks about my progress from the last visit and we then work on the areas that I pick out. This time he showed me various exercises relevant to my current situation. I did the exercises with his supervisio0n and I found that most valuable as he could show me what I got ok and how I could do the exercise better

Mr Deepak Bhatura was very helpful regarding my situation and prescribed medication and recommended that I take probiotics. I have done what was recommended and after months of suffering and taking antibiotics which were not he!lping, my symptoms have been completely eradicated!! I would not hesitate to see Mr Bhatura if need be and I would definitely send anyone who needed a urologist to Mr Bhaktura.
