Professional polite and empathetic. Could I please ask whether I should stop taking Edoxaban before the surgery at any time?
Dr Al-Lami gave me plenty of time to ask any questions and our discussion about next steps felt clear and was at a pace that felt appropriate. He was warm and friendly throughout and I felt the consultation was very collaborative. He explained my options clearly and was transparent with the information he provided. I left feeling heard, understood and clear about the next stage of my treatment.
Amazing specialist. I went to him with some very weird and wonderful symptoms. After previously having an mri and been told it was probably in my mind i am also self funding, but was desperate to get answers as it was so painful and debilitating after telling him my symptoms, he said I think you have something called Eagle syndrome. This is a very very rare syndrome. Not many people have heard of it . I had a CT scan as this is the best way too diagnose it and diagnosis was confirmed. I'm so glad I went to him with all his knowledge and expertise. Otherwise, it can take months if not years to get a proper diagnosis apparently , I would recommend him one 100 % His bedside manner was welcoming and he was genuinely Sympathetic With what I was going through.
Having shared our concerns regarding our daughter, Mr Ali Al-Lami showed great empathy and listening toward our concerns. He made time for our questions, which was appreciated.
My appointment was based on Dr Al-Lami being able to complete an operation I am on the NHS wait list for. He was very clear about what the operation would entail and what I could expect. He had no hesitation in arranging a date for me to get this done and was apologetic it wasn’t sooner. I took great confidence away from my appointment and look forward to getting this done.
Mr Ali Al-Lami has a kind, caring and understanding manner. His explanations were clear and I felt confident about the upcoming treatment plan.
Mr Al-Lami was professional, understanding and caring. My consultation was reassuring, thorough and everything I expected
