Mr Vikram Dhar

Mr. Vikram Dhar is a highly regarded Consultant ENT Surgeon at One Ashford Hospital, specialising in allergy and immunology, anaesthetics, audiology, cancer care, and ENT surgery. His clinical interests include head and neck cancer, endocrine disorders such as thyroid and parathyroid conditions, and general ENT issues, particularly rhinology. Mr. Dhar treats both children and adults, offering expertise in conditions ranging from ear infections, tinnitus, and sinusitis to complex thyroid-related issues.

After completing a Bachelor of Science degree, Mr. Dhar earned his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery degree from Imperial College London in 2000. His surgical training included rotations at the prestigious Guy's and St Thomas' and Great Ormond Street Children’s hospitals. He became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2011, following which he secured a head and neck oncology fellowship at Queen Victoria Hospital, as well as a second fellowship at the Royal Surrey Hospital in Guildford. His broad expertise has established him as a sought-after practitioner in both paediatric and adult ENT, head and neck, and thyroid pathologies.

Mr. Dhar is also dedicated to education and training. In 2011, he completed a master’s in surgical education from Imperial College London and currently serves as the college tutor for surgery at the Royal College of Surgeons and core training programme director at William Harvey Hospital. He is actively involved in training future surgeons, regularly presenting at national and international conferences to improve patient outcomes. He has also authored a book chapter and several peer-reviewed publications.
