About Dr Robert Hone
Robert Hone is a leading ENT consultant surgeon with over 15 years experience. His NHS practice is in East Kent Hospitals and he practises privately accross Kent at One Ashford Hospital, KIMS Hospital, Maidstone and Benenden Hospital.
Mr. Hone is highly experienced and qualifed from the University of London (Guy's Kings & St Thomas' School of Medicine) in 2008. He completed a Batchelor of Science degree in 2005 and attained a distinction for a Master of Surgery in 2015.
Robert Hone offers the highest standard of care and prides himself on always putting his patients first and delivering outstanding care. During consultations, he takes the time to listen to patients' concerns and explore their symptoms, always carrying out a thorough medical history and examination.
Mr. Hone regularly presents academic work at National and International meetings and has had his work published in book chapters, papers, and journals. He is heavily involved in education and is curerntly one of the Foundation Programme Directors for Junior Doctors In East Kent and has been departmental paediactric ENT lead. He is happy to recieve any ENT referral.
Outside of work, he spends time with his family and has a keen interest in sports.

- Neck conditions, including thyroid and parathyroid disease and salivary gland disorders.
- Paediatric ENT conditions, including tonsillitis, ear infection, nasal obstruction, hearing loss and enlarged adenoids.
- Ear conditions, including hearing loss, wax, tinnitus, vertigo and balance disorders.
- Nose conditions, including rhinitis, hayfever, nose bleeds, sinusitis, nasal polyps, nasal blockage, loss of smell and nasal discharge.
