About Dr Luke Dancy

Dr Luke Dancy a Consultant Cardiologist specialising in Interventional Cardiology. He currently sees private patients at KIMS Hospital and the Guthrie Clinic, King’s College Hospital. Dr Dancy completed his medical degree in South London in 2008 followed by his PhD at King’s College London.

Dr Dancy’s expertise lies in the comprehensive field of general cardiology, with a particular focus on diagnosing and treating diseases affecting the arteries of the heart. He performs a range of stenting procedures, ranging from simple to complex, emergency and chronically occluded. He undertakes these procedures at both Medway and King’s College Hospitals.

Dr Dancy strongly advocates for specialised care in the treatment phase, believing that after diagnosis, interventions should be carried out by experts in the field. He works closely with his extensive network of skilled colleagues to ensure optimal care for his patients.

Dr Dancy also has special interests in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide array of cardiology modalities using: 12 lead ECG, echocardiography, 24-hour ECG monitoring, 24-hour blood pressure monitoring, diagnostic angiogram, stent implantation (PCI) for both simple and complex cases, as well as implantable loop recorder insertion and removal.

I had pleasant first contact conversation with Dr Dancy on Wednesday evening by phone, which went very well. Dr Dancy informed me he was going to check all of my recent medical history from hospital and GP files and will then write to me with his initial conclusions and proposed plan going forward. I look forward to our first face to face meeting at KIMS Hospital Maidstone in due course.
