Mr Pramod Achan

Mr Pramod Achan is a highly-skilled consultant orthopaedic surgeon specialising in hip and knee surgery, joint replacements, sports injuries, and arthroscopy.

He graduated from the University of London in 1993 and specialised in orthopaedic surgery. He then pursued postgraduate medical education, earning his Fellowship in Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 1998 before becoming a Trauma Fellow at the Royal London Hospital.

After completing fellowships in Trauma at the Hospital for Joint Diseases at New York University and Arthroplasty on the Gold Coast of Queensland, Australia, he worked as Clinical Director for the Barts Health NHS Trust for several years before joining The Princess Grace Hospital in London.

Mr Achan has a passion for medical education and divides his time between working at the practice, writing articles, and organising orthopaedic training programmes.

Mr Achan was selected as one of two 'Best of British' surgeons and represented the British Hip Society in the United States. He has also served as an ABC travelling fellow for British Orthopaedics and has taught extensively at Harvard, Stanford, Duke, Emory, and McMaster.
