I couldn’t recommend the Lister clinic at the Portland hospital more. After four terrible years of miscarriage heartbreak, failed nhs treatment and nhs misinformation I read about Dr Salim. I read that he specialised in treatment for people with failed treatment before. As soon as I met Dr Salim I knew he was the doctor that could change our life. He knew all about the treatments the nhs were not using that I wanted to try (.pgt testing,zymot etc) he also diagnosed me which no one at the nhs would. Through dr Salim we got 5 tested perfect embryos and had our baby. Secondly I want to mention the clinic was so calm, well organised and nice. Every interaction I had with consultants, nurses, receptionist, bloods team, ivf treatment team and embyologists was fantastic. Everyone was so full of knowledge, calm and positive. This treatment changed the course of my life! I highly recommend this clinic and dr Salim.

Montefiore hospital staff were mostly pleasant and helpful. I did have an appointment booked for me to be seen post op and when I got there it had been cancelled. However it worked out in the end although the receptionist was very uncompromising about it all. I did send photos that they checked over when I was concerned about my wounds but it wasn't made clear to me that I could contact them after surgery. Although they were more than helpful when they did eventually. Apparently it's in their literature when they hand it to you but a verbal confirmation would have helped as I recovered on my own

My appointment with Dr Orteu was very helpful and she is an outstanding doctor. Dr Orteu took a very comprehensive history and examination, noticing many things other doctors had missed and her management plan was very patient- focussed. Dr Orteu was caring and thoughtful throughout and communicated excellently with my primary care team, even calling me up later to clarify something. Dr Orteu is clearly very knowledgable about all aspects of dermatology and its significance in rheumatological conditions. Thank you.

We visited the Consultant following g my husband’s heart attack in Turkey while on holiday, followed by one emergency angioplasty and a further planned angioplasty 10 days later. As we were in Turkey we had no follow up advice or instructions on how to mange the after effects of a heart attack. Los the drugs were too strong as they were prescribed after the emergency op and not changed after the second one. So we’re were VERY pleased to talk to a doctor in English to get some guidance and a plan for future care.

I was seen on time, each step of the process was carefully explained, and the process of removing the cataract was painlessly carried out in less than 15 minutes. The discharge process was thoroughly explained, and the information provided was clearly set out in written form. i would have no suggestions for improvement.

We overall had a positive experience at the lindo wing when we welcomed our daughter in July. The staff were lovely and very supportive both during labour and also on the post natal ward and I would recommend it to others. One minor issue however - the TV was not working in our postnatal room - this was disappointing given the cost we paid for the overnight stay!

Initial visit to GP to discuss suffering from constipation for some time. Then heard from Medefer and asked to get blood tests at James Paget Hospital. Followed up with appointment at JPH to have a Sigmoidoscopy carried out. Discovered a polyp that was removed to be analysed. Also a few diverticula. Was treated with respect and well looked after.
