My last visit was 21/05/2026 which went very well. My questions were answered to my satisfaction & Mr Carter was happy with my progress but felt that I hadn’t quite had enough physio therapy at the time. A follow up telephone appointment was scheduled for 01/07/2026.

Left hip replacement. Initial consultation was very informative with clear explanations about current symptoms and why the operation was the best option. Post op care from Mr Carter and team was excellent, very caring and competent. Follow up and final consultation with Mr Carter was as expected and all questions answered clearly and in detail.

Mr Carter explained exactly what he was going to replace my hip and the possible outcomes. After the operation he visited me in the recovery area to tell me all had gone very well. He also visited me on the ward the following g day, prior to my discharge. Six weeks after the operation I had an appointment with Mr Carter where he reviewed my x ray and assured me that all was well.

My appointment went to plan the surgeon showed me the x rays and explained the procedure to me in detail.

Mr Carter was helpful empathetic and professional listening carefully to my story and responding with further advice and support He appeared genuinely interested in my experience and keen to help

I was lucky to have an excellent experience in the care of Mr Joseph Carter and all staff at Spire Cheshire hospital. The procedure of my knee replacement surgery was explained fully and staff were sensitive to my individual concerns. I was extremely well looked after in hospital and post operative care was excellent.
