I wanted to express my sincere gratitude for the outstanding care I received throughout my outpatient programme with Mr Robinson and his team. From start to finish, the experience was exceptional. The NHS has been nothing short of remarkable, and I did not encounter a single complaint or difficulty during my entire surgical journey. To date, I have lost over 10 stone — and counting. This surgery has transformed every aspect of my life. I feel more comfortable within myself, more capable, and more able to pursue the lifelong goals I once believed were out of reach. The guidance, steps, and support provided — even though the journey was long — were made manageable and reassuring by Mr Robinson, Fridi, and the whole team. They turned what felt impossible into something achievable. Recently, I sprinted up the road for the first time in years. It was one of the most exhilarating moments of my life, something I could never have imagined doing during my lowest times. Before this, I felt like I had no future. My life was on hold, and I fell into a dark place that pushed away loved ones and left me feeling trapped. My weight spiralled, and I no longer recognised myself or knew how to climb out of that hole. This surgery, and the people behind it, gave me my life back. I want to thank everyone involved for helping me move toward a healthier, happier lifestyle. Your work has changed my life in ways I will never forget. Thank you so much.

Really well looked after before procedure and really lovely nurses during procedure. Only downside was that recovery did feel quite rushed and the nurse in recovery during my visit on 15.06.26 at 3pm was good but I did feel i was rushed out a bit soon. I was feeling quite out of it and had vomited once while in recovery, the nurse was waiting for my blood pressure to improve and when it did she asked me to stand but I was still feeling quite wobbly. I was a bit concerned that I had already been sick once but was being discharged without any sick bowl or similar. I got as far as the main reception with my partner and unfortunately ended up vomiting again all over the reception floor in front of people which was really embarrassing although I was still fairly out of it so don’t remember much. I then needed to be wheeled back into recovery for a very short time before returning back. The overall service was brilliant I just felt a bit disappointed that the nurses didn’t think to give me at least something like a sick bowl to take away with me considering i had already been sick. Think this needs to be thought of next time and possibly more recovery time allowed, but that’s the only improvements needed. Thank you.

I am deeply grateful for the compassionate, validating support I received from Dr Schwitters for nearly 3 years, ending in June 2026. She created a safe, nonjudgmental space where I could name my experiences with an abusive partner, without judgment, and rebuild my sense of self. Her expertise in narcissistic abuse dynamics helped me recognise patterns, set healthy boundaries, and gradually trust my instincts again. I appreciate the fact that she could challenge me and encourage me to find the answers for myself which was empowering. I was also able to connect my current relationship patterns with my past- environment l grew up in - and understand the origins of these negative patterns. Mourning for my childhood was not easy but l am grateful to have been able to sit with my inner child and find peace for her again. It wasn’t an easy journey, but through it l learnt to love myself again, prioritise myself and ultimately leave the abusive relationship. I highly recommend Dr Schwitters’s thoughtful, patient, and effective care that prioritises your safety, healing, self awareness, and growth.

I was recently referred by my optician for droopy eyelids that were affecting my vision and for surgery through the NHS to correct this. From my first consultation to my final discharge, I cannot fault the care I received at Newmedica Nottingham. The whole team is highly professional, kind, and puts you at ease right away from the minute you walk through the door. The clinic is modern, bright, spotless, and incredibly well-equipped with everything you need and you are looked after from beginning to end. From the phone calls to book you in, remind you of your appointment, the receptionist when you enter, the optical and surgical teams are fantastic. I had Ptosis repair and Upper Blephorplasty under local aesthetic. Everyone in the theatre were fantastic and put me at ease throughout, as I was a very nervous patient! My surgeon was Giorgio and he was amazing, patient and a perfectionist and I am beyond happy with the results, thank yu to everyone at Nottingham, you are exceptional.

My adult son has been struggling learning how to live with ADHD for many years. We have tried CBT, psychiatrists and medications but nothing has been impactful. He started seeing Jo for weekly sessions and the change in him is remarkable. His understanding of why life is so challenging and difficult at times is massively improved which has led a significant reduction in his self-loathing which has been so sad to watch over the years. He is already starting to make meaningful changes in his daily life - he has given up smoking, controlling his alcohol intake, and engaging in family life in a positive way. We found Dr Bajaj online after being told it would be a three year wait for an assessment on the NHS. Dr Bajaj diagnosed my daughter with ADHD and we have been having follow up appointments re getting the right medication at the right dose. We found Dr Bajaj at just the right time and we had a diagnosis and started medication in time for her GCSE year. It has made the world of difference to my daughter’s quality of life and our family life in general. She has coped so much better with her work and revision, and is much happier in herself. The medication has helped calm her and enabled her to maintain focus and revise well. We are so grateful and would happily recommend Dr Bajaj. She is extremely understanding, knowledgeable and supportive.

First of all I was picked up in a luxury car by Mohammed and he was a legend that made me feel welcome. I was greeted by a very friendly team who made me feel really welcome right from the off. I was super nervous to come in and I fell everyone made me feel at ease. I had Gary as a one-to-one. He was very direct and exactly what I needed and it was a good fit. I really like the model of their holistic therapies. Give me a different perspective than what I was used to in AA apart from the place being very luxury and food being incredible. All of the staff with no exception were very supportive and so knowledgable to set me on my journey. The team have give me the tools to to thrive, now it’s time to implement them Thank you Delemere staff!

I really felt listened to and not rushed in my appointment, and everything was covered thoroughly. Dr Ranthnaiah met me where I was at in my understanding of the brain and my condition, and took the time to explain the connection between my physical and mental health conditions. The clinician contracted by HMC is fine - he’s good and trying his best. I can’t claim a substantial improvement in my health yet because the process is ongoing. My experience with HMC as an organisation though is poor. Communication is weak, meaning that progress along the care pathway is slow and several mistakes have been made. It doesn’t help that HMC is a subcontractor to another subcontracted 3rd party (OneBright) on behalf of my insurance provider (Aviva). The effect is slow decision making and a lack of clear accountability. Everybody is trying but corporate process is getting in the way.

I was given clear instructions about the operation and what l was required to do beforehand. I had glaucoma and cataracts and was instructed to give myself Timolol drops before the operation to reduce the pressure on my eye, very easy to apply. Then on the day of the operation I was fitted with a drain to stabilise the pressure in my eye I also had a new lens to correct my sight. I was then given Antibiotic and Maxidex drops to use for up to 28 days. The whole procedure was very easy and non painful due to Mr Elshan and his team

Would recommend the Spire when having private treatment. The overall process was smooth and the care whilst staying in overnight was exceptional, both in terms of the care provided by the nurses and the cleanliness of the facilities. The only area I was less satisfied in was the communication prior to the surgery, where there was a miscommunication on what time my surgery was due to happen. This required me calling several times to have this confirmed, but the the miscommunication was explained clearly following this.

I took my 92 year old father to see Dr. Finbar and Dr. Finbar made my father feel so relaxed and he was courteous and kind to my father. A true gentleman and so professional and helpful also he had a bit of banter with my father. Nothing was too much trouble for Dr. Finbar and he suggested I emailed him twice over the following weeks to see how my father was getting on and straight away I received a reply. A visit well worth taking for piece of mind.
