I am very pleased with my partial knee replacement. It has been life changing for me and I am now back to being pain free and doing my normal activities including longer walks and the gym. Mr Hunter was very professional and fully explained the procedure and recovery timescales. All my questions and concerns were answered. Mr Hunter adopts an open and friendly approach and I would fully recommend him.

For many years of pain trying to put a brave face on my general well being, became just too much and seekers medical help in diagnosing my condition. It was found that my hips needed replacing because of years wear and tear. My visit with My consultant Mr Hunter was an apprehensive one but rewarding experience. Apprehensive because I have not experienced surgery before but the outcome is night and day; I am feeling like I have my life back and looking forward to doing all the things that I couldn’t do with hip pain. Mr Hunter gives you so much confidence and clarity making you feel eased, confident and that your in good professional hands. I cannot recommend Mr Hunter highly enough. From my very first consultation through to my six-week follow-up, he was warm, professional, caring, and incredibly reassuring. He took the time to answer all of my questions clearly, which gave me complete confidence and put me at ease throughout the whole process. My hip replacement operation went extremely smoothly, and my recovery has been just as positive. My wound healed beautifully, I experienced very few problems during recovery, and after just six weeks I am walking well and, most importantly, completely pain free. Mr Hunter was professional but also friendly and courteous. The treatment I had has transformed my life. Everything thing was explained to me as it happened. The care and attention was perfect and made the experience very comfortable.

My surgical procedure was and is excellent !!!!! .Physio prior to surgery very brief instruction , same on day of discharge , Clinic appt 10 days later more instruction and contact needed, Next appt 3 wks later and next appt 3wks laterPhysio is important should have been hands on guidance to maintain the Surgeons high standard procedure. Dressing check was kept waiting for 30 mins , was in the treatment room for less than 5 min , suture line fine soluble stiches no further guidance or or reassurance given Nurse didn’t normally work in the clinic when asked re My consultant and usual aftercare , On my First appt no raised toilet seat in dept Nurse at reception was not aware it was needed !!!’
