Mr Ridyard has undertaken cataract operations on both my eyes. They were complex operations as I am very short-sighted. I am delighted to say that both operations were completely successful and I can now see really well without glasses for the first time in years. Thank you so much Mr Ridyard and the excellent staff at New Meducation, Grimsby!

Mr Ridyard is an outstanding colleague. He is highly trained having undergone the highly competitive ophthalmic specialist training programme in the Yorkshire and Humber region. Mr Ridyard compounded his knowledge by spending time with world renowned experts within the field at several premier international institutions. Following this he obtained a substantive consultant post at St James’s University Hospitals in Leeds, Europe’s largest teaching hospital. I had the great pleasure of training with Mr Ridyard for seven years and found him to be a highly intelligent, diligent, hardworking and thoughtful doctor. I would regard him as one of the most naturally gifted surgeons that I have witnessed. Mr Ridyard has a natural propensity for teaching and training and is now imparting his knowledge and skills upon the latest cohort of trainee ophthalmic surgeons. I regularly refer patients to Mr Ridyard and seek his specialist and advanced knowledge of glaucoma and cataract in the management of challenging and complex cases. Patients who have been treated by him, in my experience, have spoken of his excellent bedside manner, empathy and compassion. I would be more than happy referring my patients, friends, colleagues or family members to Mr Ridyard as I would be certain they would receive the very highest quality of care.
