I am so pleased with My cataract surgery. When you are 78 and have restricted mobility it is thrilling to be able to read again. Liberating and life saving.

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience. I am delighted to hear how pleased you are with your cataract surgery and that you are now able to read again. I can appreciate how liberating this must feel, particularly when restricted mobility has made everyday activities more challenging. It is wonderful to know that the improvement in your vision has had such a positive and meaningful impact on your life. Thank you for placing your trust in my care. I wish you continued enjoyment of your improved vision and all the very best for the future.
The consultation and procedure were very well handled. I felt totally confident in Mr Burton. The day of the procedure involved a long wait because the ordered lens had not arrived until after I had been waiting 2 hours. The details I had provided at my pre op. Assessment had not been uploaded onto the system at admittance and the week long blood pressure readings I had submitted before were not also found on the system which rather defeated the purpose of supplying medical information.

Thank you for taking the time to leave such a candid review. I am delighted to hear that you felt confident in my care and that both your consultation and procedure were well handled. I would also like to apologise for the delays and administrative issues you experienced on the day of your procedure. I appreciate how frustrating it must have been to wait for the arrival of your lens, and I understand your concerns regarding the information from your pre-operative assessment and blood pressure readings not being available when you were admitted. I have carefully reviewed your feedback and have learnt from this experience. In particular, we have worked with the team at Nuffield Health to improve processes around the timely ordering and availability of premium lenses, as well as ensuring that important patient information is accessible when required. Providing a smooth and reassuring patient journey is extremely important to us, and your feedback helps us continue to improve. Thank you again for your comments and for placing your trust in my care. I wish you all the very best with your recovery.
