I would like to give very positive feedback about my recent hospital admission. From the moment I arrived, the staff were welcoming, friendly, and highly professional. Everything was clearly explained, and the process was handled efficiently, making me feel comfortable, reassured, and well supported throughout. The admissions team made what could have been a stressful experience feel smooth and straightforward. I was particularly impressed by their kindness, organisation, and excellent communication. Thank you to everyone involved for making my experience such a positive and reassuring one. The hospital room was comfortable and maintained to a very high standard of cleanliness. I was also pleasantly surprised by the post-operative food, which was both tasty and nutritious and contributed positively to my recovery and overall experience. A special shout-out to one of the nurses, Salmon, for his exceptional care, thoughtfulness, reassurance, and wonderful sense of humour. He treated me with genuine kindness and dignity and helped put me at ease. Thank you so much for making such a difference. Finally, I would like to give my sincere thanks to my consultant and surgeon, Anthony Griffiths. You truly are the best! The nurses at The Lister Hospital are owed immeasurable credit for the care they provide day in, day out. Nursing goes so far beyond the technical and physical aspects of the job, and it's the warmth, kindness, gentleness, patience and genuine care they show that really makes a difference. Throughout my stay, I was never made to feel that I was asking too much or that I was a burden. I find being in hospital very anxiety-provoking, so knowing that I was surrounded by such kind and compassionate people brought me and my family an enormous amount of comfort. I found the care itself to be thorough for the most part (minus a couple of miscommunications about medication!), and nothing ever seemed like too much trouble. I had also made it clear that maintaining my dignity was particularly important to me, and I felt that this was completely respected and honoured throughout my stay. The hospital itself was clean and comfortable, with good-sized rooms, plenty of space for visitors and a good level of privacy. Overall, I felt very well cared for and treated with kindness, respect and dignity throughout my time at the Lister.

I have suffered with Glaucoma since a young age. When I needed Cataract surgery Mr Goyal was recommended to me by my optician for his Glaucoma expertise. I have now been a patient of Mr Goyal for almost three years and I cannot recommend him enough. I have recommended him to other family members who have also become patients and I know are very pleased. Recently my elderly father has undergone cataract surgery with Mr Goyal. The professionalism, compassion, understanding and support which Mr Goyal has provided to myself and my father is unmatched. If you require assistance with cataract or Glaucoma related eye problems, I honestly doubt you will find anybody better than Saurabh Goyal. It is a pleasure to recommend him.

I arrived 20 mins early for appointment in case there were traffic hold ups. The receptionist told me my appointment would be on time, so I went for a short walk outside as waiting room was crowded. Returned 5 mins before appointment and waited 45 minutes before the the first eye drops etc were given. I waited another 45 minutes before the start of the procedure. When anxious as I guess most people are a long wait doesn't help at all. All staff were very friendly and helpful. The procedure went smoothly. At home again, I found the information in some of the New Medica leaflets was different from what I had been told. Confusing.

I had been waiting a long time for an appointment with ENT. This time with GWH & not the local community. I met with Dr. Balakumar today. I felt that he was extremely polite and i was so pleased to be offered a Sinus scan that very moment. He discussed the scan of my sinuses in detail. He answered all my questions clearly. He wanted to sort out the problems I was experiencing and I felt that the conversation ended well. I was generally so pleased to have the many months of waiting sorted out today.

My experience was good. The receptionist was nice in my greeting. The next person, who took me into the room initially, was friendly too. I do think they could have given me more of a heads up of what the eye drops would do. I literally could not read my phone screen for 2/3 hours after receiving the drops and I was really not ready for that. It was a good thing I knew the time of the bus home already as I couldn’t have read it from my phone. The consultant was ok, not the most personable.

Would highly recommend Friends Medical. Had been trying for weeks to get a doctor's appointment at my own surgery but to no avail. Two seconds on the website and my appointment was booked at a time that suited my work hours. From arrival at Friends Medical the staff were very attentive and welcoming and the appointment was on time and very quick. I would have no hesitation in recommending that people make an appointment, you wont be disappointed.

Procedure carried out by a young lady, Julia. She was very professional and really kind. I saw Mr Garth Allardice over some problems with my foot following a fall and a bad sprain which was taking a long time to improve. He was excellent and reviewed my situation and suggested and facilitated an MRI to determine the problem and to provide reassurance. In tandem with physio the problems were alleviated and I was able to commence running again.
