20/10 I was recommended to Dr Alek by multiple friends, including one who is a doctor herself and trained under him. He came highly, highly recommended and is known as the best in the business — and I can completely understand why. From the moment I walked into the practice, I was warmly greeted by Sam, the practice administrator. She was friendly, welcoming, and made me feel right at home. Thank you, Sam! I’ve seen many aesthetic doctors and practitioners before, and Dr Alek is by far the best I’ve ever experienced. Previously, consultations felt rushed — numbing cream applied, a quick question about what I wanted, and straight into the procedure. With Dr Alek, it was completely different. We began with a thorough consultation where we discussed my concerns, the procedures I was interested in, and everything I’ve previously had done — including where, when, and any medications I’m on. He then did a full facial assessment, looking at proportions, symmetry, and structure. He carefully felt for any existing filler or lumps, explained what they were, and clearly walked me through what we can and can’t do moving forward. Everything was explained in a way that was detailed yet easy to understand. We created a thoughtful plan of action together, and what stood out most was that he never once tried to “sell” me on anything — something I’ve experienced with every other practitioner before. It’s immediately clear that he truly cares about his patients, has an incredible passion for what he does, and an exceptional eye for detail. He really knows his craft. Today we did Botox, and it was genuinely pain-free. He is precise, intentional, and incredibly gentle. As soon as I left, I couldn’t wait to call my husband and tell him how amazing the experience was. I’ve now officially joined my group of friends who cannot recommend Dr Alek highly enough. I consulted Mrs Maya Harris due to an enlarged prostate that was now causing incontinence. To address this issue, NHS treatment had inserted a catheter and put me on a waiting list for surgery, but I had no confirmation as to the date of such a procedure. Hence, I decided to investigate private treatment and following google based research, I determined that a good starting point was to have an initial consultation with Mrs Harris. She was very understanding and identified a slot for an appropriate procedure some 5 weeks hence, She provided reading matter for the possible range of treatments while recommending in my case, Aquablation therapy. This is a minimally invasive, robotic-assisted procedure for enlarged prostate (BPH) that uses a heat-free, high-pressure waterjet to precisely remove tissue, providing long-lasting, durable symptom relief. Following my review of the supplied literature, I concluded this was an appropriate option, and proceeded confirm the operation, which was successfully carried out by Mrs Harris at a nearby private hospital with good follow up monitoring and then 6-weeks after the procedure, discharged by Mrs Harris. I have been very pleased with the results and was able to recommence my work, just two weeks after the procedure, initially remotely and then on-site in my profession as a business consultant. I am very happy to recommend Mrs Harris for those with similar symptoms to what I was enduring.

I went in today for my first ever colonoscopy. Although I was nervous, every staff member I met made me feel comfortable and at ease. there was a brief 10 minute wait before I saw the nurse, who was very informative about the procedure and took some recordings (blood pressure, heart rate etc.) before asking me some questions. After not very long at all I went into the room to have my procedure and Samer and his team were excellent in talking me through the process, what I might experience, and how long it would be. They regularly checked in on me throughout to ask how I was doing. Regarding the colonoscopy itself - overall I felt no pain at all really - some discomfort from the gas (which they make you aware of) but otherwise it was fine. I chose sedation rather than gas & air, and found this worked well for me. It is an odd sensation in general; but manageable. The procedure took maybe 20 minutes, before I was moved to recovery. The recovery nurse & all staff members there were very friendly. They read me my report, made sure I understood the results, and gave me some biscuits and squash (which I was grateful for after 24H of not eating!) - I was out from here after around 20 minutes, having no notable lingering side effects from either the medication or procedure. Overall, fantastic service from everyone. Thank you so much.

I had an excellent experience at the Lindo Wing. Everyone (midwives, baby doctors, anaesthesiologists) were exceptionally calm, supportive, and reassuring throughout my stay. Every step was clearly explained, and all questions were answered with patience and care. Even with the smallest concern about my baby’s health, a neonatologist was promptly invited to carry out a full assessment, which gave me great peace of mind. I was also supported with my baby’s breast attachment immediately in the delivery room, which was incredibly helpful. The rooms are very well equipped, and during delivery both my and my baby’s heart rates were continuously monitored and carefully assessed. After the birth, we received ongoing guidance on next steps, and both my baby’s and my own health were checked frequently and thoroughly.

I visited for an US abdominal and internal after NHS scan could not find my ovaries due and I was very anxious to find out if theses were causing my pain. I was fortunately referred by my GP quickly and seen the following day. The experience was totally different to the NHS one. My questions were answered rather than the NHS “you will need to speak with your doctor “ response to every question. The consultant Christina spent time to get the necessary images and did advise further scans to eliminate any issues with bowel/colon. The whole experience was very comfortable and I did not feel like I was being a nuisance by asking questions about my body!! Thank you so much. It was ++ reassuring and did also identify a condition which I may have causing the pain.

This was my second visit to this hospital,and as it was on the 1st visit,I can only add praise on the staff,nurses consultants,seating area with coffee machine,the receptionist was so polite and helpful as well as being friendly and smiling.It was comfortably warm on a cold day,always a nervous person even for an xray.but left the hospital with all the information I needed,and feeling calm and confident on my visit. Had an appointment with Mr Ofinran after a routine test found irregularities that needed to be checked. Mr Ofinran was great at explaining my initial results in more detail which gave me a better understanding and clarity that things weren’t as bad as I’d interpreted. I had a follow on procedure where Mr Ofinran took biopsies. He was considerate, explained the process whilst he was doing it, and gave me some great follow up advice about what to expect. My results consultation followed form - Mr Ofinran took his time to explain the results of the biopsy and made sure if I had any questions these were answered. I would recommend Mr Ofinran.

Mr Akram really knows both the technology and also the human factors and patiently and explicitly introduced me to my first hearing aids. These are working wonderfully from the very first wearing. I returned for a custom program for singing in choir. This too was very effective. I could not recommend Pindrop and Mr Akram more highly! It’s a bit traumatic to discover one needs hearing aids but the process is painless and the benefits are immediate.

Professor Sanderson is a very kind and enterprising man. Other doctors have either had little ideas or will to treat me. In contrast, Professor Sanderson has never given up trying to help me. It is in a large part thanks to him alone that I’m still alive. His administrative staff are also a pleasure and make sure I’m well looked after. Do contact them if you are considering it. It will probably be one of the best things you ever do.
