Having suffered for years with horrific periods and severe anemia for the past 3 years and then on top of this bowel problems all of which meant I spent over half of every month not leaving the house. The keyhole full hysterectomy has cured each problem I had. Dr Kuntal is incredible very professional and always clearly explaining the what, the why and the how. I felt so comfortable, safe and most important of all I felt listened too. Everything went like clock work with surgery and I’m now 7 week post surgery and I don’t look back. The whole experience was and has been such a positive one from start to finish and this is all thanks to Dr Kuntal. I would not think twice about recommending Dr Kuntal. I highly recommend Miss Mez Aref-Adib. I’m 39 years old and had a 6 cm fibroid that caused heavy bleeding and severe pain. Dr. Aref-Adib performed my laparoscopic surgery and successfully removed all of the fibroids. She was extremely attentive to my condition after the surgery, followed up closely to make sure everything was going well, and was always available to answer any questions I had during recovery. Three months later, I feel so much better, and there is only a very faint mark left from the stitches on my abdomen. I highly recommend Dr. Aref-Adib—not only because she is highly skilled and professional, but also because she is genuinely kind, caring, and responsive.

Unexpected diagnosis but finally relieved to find an answer. I have since my teenage years have always issues with my tummy, feeling bloated, loose stools and sometimes constipation, never feeling right. After consultation with Dr Mahesh, he suggested a few tests including endoscopy- both ends!. However the endoscopy confirmed I have coeliac disease and colonoscoopy showed colitis. He also gave me a clear step by step plan. I feel so relieved to have found what was the issue, now adjusting slowly to a life without gluten, and , tbh its not all that bad. Anyway, an intelligent doctor, thank you. My kids are seeing him too!

I underwent extensive, blood tests, lung function tests and CT lungs and echocardiogram. I am now better informed about the state of my lungs. My treatment has also been optimised. Dr Abdullah is professional but easy to talk to. He has an excellent bed side manner. He explained my results clearly. I am a retired GP and have no hesitation in recommending Dr Abdullah if you are dissatisfied with your NHS care or have any concerns about your breathing.

Dr Charlotte Frise is an excellent doctor. Despite the multiple complications I had, she had time for me even when she was off duty. She saw me through until I sailed through. I was never afraid at any point even when I couldn’t breathe and had oxygen of 80% on room air, I was motivated. Her smile was always soothing and reassuring, it felt like family. She treats patients like family and it’s heartwarming in difficult times. I begin to tear up when I express how I feel about the care she gave me. Am very impressed and grateful for her services. The NHS is blessed to have doctors like her.

1)I found the signage to the main lifts and to Lyndhurst rooms confusing. There should be signage in the ground floor lift lobby saying which departments are on which floor. I have been complaining about this since 1971. 2)The excellent group portrait of the Royal Free consultants in about 1970 which used to be on the ground floor but has now been removed to the 12th Floor no longer has the key saying who they are. This is a digrace and an insult to the memory of a fine group of men (and about ten women), The key should be found and reinstated immediately.

Alex provided a detailed analysis of my gait and took a 3D scan of my foot to create orthoses customised to me. He also clearly explained what was going on with my ankle and how it can get better, having done a number of tests to pinpoint the issue. Highly recommend Alex for anyone struggling with a foot-related sports injury.
