I could not rate Dr. Blackburn highly enough. I had multiple consultations with highly rated surgeons, most of whom had larger social media presence, but immediately felt at ease with Dr. Blackburn. He made me feel incredibly confident I was in the right hands with him, both from seeing the results of his work and him being clear he’s a real perfectionist but also because he’s very upfront about realistic results, what is possible, recovery time etc. The whole process from start to finish with him has been a great experience. He’s made it clear he’s only a phone call or message away if any problems arise now I’ve been signed off. I am so pleased with the end result - the surgery has truly been life changing and has had a hugely positive impact on my life. I wish I had done it sooner! Thank you Adam.

The initial consultation was an evening appointment and I considered it to be expensive. The consultants fee (Dr Kadhim) was £250 (equating to £1000 per hour) Administration fee £35 (for what) and an e.c.g which took all of 5 minutes was £111. Total £396. I was promised by the consultant that Cardioversion would happen before my holiday in mid December but received excuses from admin staff why this could not happen. I kept pestering and eventually received notice at 3.00pm the day before that Cardioversion would occur at 07.30 the following morning. The actual Cardioversion went without hitch, the consultant Dr Menown and his staff were excellent, facilities were good, food was ample and all went well. So do not take no for an answer.

I recently took my 3-year-old to Kidswell when he was feeling unwell, and we had an excellent experience from start to finish. We were able to get a same-day appointment, which was excellent. The reception staff were warm, welcoming, and very helpful. The facilities are clearly designed with kids and their parents in mind—bright, comfortable, and reassuring. The doctor who saw us was efficient, thorough, and great with my son, taking the time to make sure we understood everything. The rooms were spotless and well-organized, which added to the sense of calm during a stressful moment. Overall, a very positive and reassuring experience. Highly recommend this clinic for anyone seeking quality care for their children

Mr Yamoah has changed my life and I will forever be grateful. For almost ten years my GP told me I had IBS and wouldn’t take my pain seriously. My experience at the hospital was excellent from start to finish. The room was extremely comfortable and well appointed, which certainly helped with rest and recovery, but what truly made the experience exceptional was the nursing team. The nurses were absolutely superb in every way — kind, attentive, professional, and endlessly patient. Nothing was ever too much trouble, no matter the time of day or how small the request. I was made to feel safe, cared for, and genuinely supported throughout my stay. I am incredibly grateful for the outstanding care I received and would not hesitate to recommend this hospital to others.

Dr Gamble has been a real life saver from the moment he installed my pacemaker 4 months ago. A recent bacterial chest infection has caused me a setback in my open heart surgery rehabilitation, however Dr Gamble has thoroughly checked my heart and pacemaker via ECG and Echo' data and I am re-assured that I am on the mend again. He has explained the issues around my medication and I have complete faith in his guidance and recommendations. He explains things in easy to understand terms and answers honestly all queries raised. I will be booking a follow-up consultation with Dr Gamble again in 6 months time.

It was a really welcoming and professsional. Ms Ray was very friendly and welcoming. She put my daughter as ease. There was a slight confusion with the xray as my daughter didn’t realise she was meant to drop the form round to the x Ray department so we were waiting in the main reception for a while before I asked how long it would be. However it was quick to get the xray and bloods. My only issue was the parking. There were so many areas for consultants, disabled, oncology, staff, which is understandable but it meant we had to drive around 3 times to find a space.

I saw Mr Meneown, on a follow up consultation, after recent tests. I was extremely happy with how he explained everything to me in a gentle, thorough way. He gave me the opportunity to ask questions and he answered those in a very satisfactory way. He included my husband in the conversation which was good for him.. My appointment with Miss Panter herself was excellent. She answered my questions very helpfully and proposed a treatment plan which was exactly what I’d come for, with careful explanations and kindness. I found there was quite a high level of confusing and duplicated ‘admin’ in the run-up to the appointment: emails requiring me to fill in form after form in an unhelpful (to both of us), confusing and anxiety-provoking way. But the actual appointment with my consultant was very good.

Visit was great. Nurse was very friendly, explained everything very thoroughly. The only thing I can say is the waiting room which was a bit overcrowded as it seemed like there was a person who had an appointment and had at least 5 more person escorting. I think this should not be allowed. One escort for a patient is fine.
