I would like to begin by acknowledging the excellent care I received from the doctors during my first visit. Both clinicians went above and beyond, and I felt genuinely supported by them. Unfortunately, this high standard was not reflected in my interactions with the reception and administrative staff. After my consultation, the doctor provided me with a ticket for my next appointment and advised that, in the meantime, I should attend the imaging department for an ultrasound. When I arrived at imaging, the staff were dismissive and informed me that, because I was an NHS patient, they would need to write to my GP for a separate referral. I explained that the doctor had instructed me to have the ultrasound the same day. The staff member responded that if I waited in reception, she would speak to the doctor, adding that “quite often they don’t know how things are done.” I waited for an hour with no update. When I approached the desk to ask for news, the staff member replied, “I’m sorry, I forgot all about you,” and said she would speak to the doctor immediately. After she finally did so, the situation changed dramatically: I was suddenly offered an ultrasound appointment for 11:30 a.m. that same day — just an hour and a half later. It was clear that once the doctor became aware of the issue, the department acted quickly and efficiently, which I appreciated, especially as I live only ten minutes away. The ultrasound itself was carried out professionally, and the doctor performing it was excellent. He explained everything clearly and asked when my next appointment was. When I told him it was scheduled for six weeks later, he advised me to return to the main reception and request an earlier appointment, as his report would be completed that same day. However, when I approached reception, I was dismissed outright and told, “Doctors make appointments six weeks in advance — it is what it is.” Additionally, there was no record of my attendance on their system, only an appointment dated 23 March 2026, which, by their own admission, belonged to a different patient entirely. On reflection, while staff may appear polite on the surface, the reality of my experience was the opposite. The inconsistency, dismissiveness, and lack of coordination created unnecessary stress and undermined the otherwise excellent clinical care I received.

I have seen Dr Alexandra Pittock a handful of times via video appointments and twice in person while going through my ADHD consultations and titration onto Elvanse. The care and support I have received from her has genuinely been life changing. Dr Pittock has helped me understand my ADHD in a way that has completely changed how I approach my life. After many years of struggling to make sense of certain challenges, she has given me clarity, reassurance and practical guidance that has made a real difference to my day-to-day life. Starting treatment under her guidance has been a very positive experience, and I now feel like I am looking forward rather than constantly looking back. She is warm, kind and very easy to talk to, which immediately puts you at ease. At the same time, she is clearly extremely knowledgeable and thoughtful in her approach. I always feel listened to during appointments, never rushed, and fully supported in decisions about my treatment. Dr Syed Asad Hussain is a pleasure to have as my consultant. He listened intently to all that I was telling him from the very beginning in regard to my symptoms and other background medical aspects that were ongoing. He then explained what course of action was required and this was arranged very quickly. He also liaised with 2 other consultants in different departments in order to narrow down a possible diagnosis. The blood tests and other tests organised assisted greatly in me receiving a diagnosis and clarity as to why I had been so poorly. I found Dr Syed Asad Hussain very personable, polite and empathetic which means a lot to someone who has felt frustration with awful symptoms for months with no real answers from my GP. I felt there was light at the end of a very dark tunnel and I am very grateful that he explained aspects in great detail and I never felt rushed during my appointments with him. Exceptional service received and I would certainly recommend him to others.

The support at the very beginning when I was accessing the service was excellent - the person I first communicated with was helpful, gentle and kind. I felt able to ask questions and to access the support on my own terms. Getting a regular appointment that suited my needs and schedule was also easy - as a single parent, I really appreciate the flexibility. The portal took a little bit of getting used to but here too, lots of friendly support was available. The counsellor I speak to weekly is just brilliant. They are flexible and kind, and our relationship has evolved according to my needs. It's genuinely changed my life, and I couldn't be more grateful.

A good phonecall with listening to my issues with pain, my herniated disc that caused nerve compression and neuropathic pain, listening to what I've been on and my experience, and offering good advice on an immediate uptake in a different drug and getting booked in for injections of 3 possible types and will be assessed further at the time at to which to go with our how much Duloxetine has helped beforehand. I'm also Autistic and whilst I forgot to mention I found Dr Chaudhry easy to talk to and understand without him rushing me or making me feel like I'd done anything wrong.

The staff were nice and supportive but the doctor Ravi Ratnavel was unprofessional in both visits. He had no empathy towards me as his patient, didn’t show that he cared at all. He gets defensive when asked questions and eventually told me he lost fascination in my condition. He also said I’m obsessing for asking questions within my rights as a patient, especially as his inputs have not been considerate caring or consistent. The administration and governance committee decided that his behavior is aligned with quality care so I would not recommend this clinic to anyone

I am so glad that I got Mr Sahemey as my Surgeon at both Solihull and Good Hope Hospital. He clearly explained the procedure, risks and the thought process behind the choice of prosthesis. Unfortunately, after the second joint replacement, I developed an infection. Mr Sahemey and his team had me seen within 2 days and constantly checked in and supported me until It had healed with the agreed antibiotics. I could not have had a better experience throughout these surgeries and it has renewed my trust in medical professionals.
