The hospital was very clean, staff were very friendly and helpful. The procedure staff were particularly nice and professional. I was very happy with the procedure and the level of professionalism and also good bedside manner. One/two areas which could be improved if you are interested : 1. Pre-procedure information suggested an overall time from entry to release of approx 2hrs. With a 6pm admission time, I assumed I could arrange a collection for 8.30pm with some time to spare. However, on arrival, after approx 1hr 15mins it became apparent that the admission time of 6pm was a general time for 3 patients to be admitted and seen that evening between 6-9pm. I happened to be patient no.2, so was seen around 7.30 and released around 9, meaning I could not use the lift arranged (my wife &kids were ok til then, but not after). This then presented me with a choice of either taxi home or to ask someone at short notice to come and collect me. Had I known the range of procedure/release times in advance, I would have arranged a different, more appropriate, lift from the start. This leads to point no.2 2. I was not made aware of the choice on whether to have sedative or not. The literature states "you will be given a sedative" not that you have a choice. After the delay above, this then created a difficulty whereby if I took the sedative, I could not legally be released to an unknown taxi driver and would have to arrange another lift at short notice or not take the sedative. I opted to not take the sedative. Had I known this option was there, I could have driven myself to and from the appointment. It also would have saved my wife and kids spending time in the car on a busy evening. In connection with this, during the appointment, it sounded like release/recovery after the sedative was likely to be several hours, so release before 10-11pm was unlikely from the start and it was always probably going to be later if I took the sedative. Please don't take the above as criticism, just highlighting that making the choice on sedative clear would have allowed me to more easily plan both my transport. Also providing a bit more detail on the admission/procedure time range and release time range would have allowed me to more easily arrange appropriate transport. Basically, more information would have made things a bit easier is all

I required surgery to remove a cyst. I am always somewhat intimidated by private healthcare services, never knowing what to expect. I met Dr Sabatini and straight away I felt at ease. He was very thorough in explaining the process, the steps and answering any questions I had. But most importantly, he was friendly and warm, which I found endearing. Surgery is such a scary situation that having a matter-of-fact doctor would make the whole process even scarier. However, Dr Sabatini put me at so much ease, I had no worries or stresses after meeting with him. I would also like to point out that having had many uncomfortable internal scans before, the best and most gentle and comfortable scan I have ever had was the one carried out by Dr Sabatini during my initial consulation. On the day of the surgery, he was very professional and caring. I felt completely looked after and I felt happy that I was in safe hands. The surgery itself was difficult and complicated but of course, Dr Sabatini completed it successfully. He was very sensitive and empathetic after the surgery and made sure to visit me at intervals to check that I was alright. He answered all my questions and was friendly and accommodating to my family. He was just as professional and caring at the follow-up consulation. I made a full recovery, and could not have asked for a better experience. If I were to require surgery like this again, I would not hesitate to ask Dr Sabatini. He is golden. I endured a horrific accident about 10 years ago when I fell (I believe due to a drink being spiked) and fractured two of my front teeth, one so badly that I had to have root canal work done and a crown fitted, I was devastated to learn that the root canal had failed and had caused an infection which would require further and costly dental work. The staff at Vermilion couldn't have done any better in how they treated me throughout the course of treatment which spanned 3 months. Dr Treagus in particular, must be highly commended, as despite his struggles in drilling through the crown (due to metalwork within the crown) to enable him to carry out the treatment, persevered and kept me informed at every stage, detailing worst case scenarios and explaining very directly what my options were. He and his colleagues managed to create a calm, and at times humorous environment which really helped to take my mind off the seriousness of what needed to be done and what could go wrong. I highly recommend the practice for their professionalism, and sheer determination to achieve a good outcome for me.

I travel miles to London to see Dr Lafina Diamandis because she is a breath of fresh air, and very worth of my time to see someone like her who is passionate about their job and cares about her patience. I reached out to TCM after I was told that I had a very low AMH and AFC and that I would likely go through early menopause. This caused me a lot of stress as I had always had regular periods and had never considered that I may have fertility troubles. Prof Au talked me through my results and educated me on AMH as a poor predictor for menopause. He advised me that I would need further bloods to fully assess my fertility and I was able to request them from my GP. Following this he reviewed my bloods with me again, without charge, and advised me that everything was normal and I did not need to be seen at TCM.
