I have been a patient of Dr. Urquhart for several years while working through the long-term effects of complex trauma, late diagnosed neurodivergence and profound life challenges. Through analytical psychotherapy and EMDR, he has helped me find steadiness during some of the most difficult periods of my life. His ability to understand what lies beneath the surface, to hear what isn’t said and recognise what others miss, has been central to my progress. Our work together has also helped me uncover the root causes of physical symptoms I had struggled with for most of my adult life, which no medical practitioner had ever been able to explain. Since addressing these issues in therapy, these episodes have significantly reduced. What I value most is his calm, steady presence and his deep understanding of human needs. Perhaps for the first time in my life, I'm beginning to meet myself, and learning to accept myself for who I am. The transition to Mourne Private Clinic has been seamless. The staff are warm, organised and professional, creating an environment that supports the therapeutic work beautifully. I cannot recommend Miss Di Marco highly enough. She is an outstanding surgeon who specialises in thyroid and parathyroid disease, and her care went far beyond technical excellence. From our very first consultation, she took time to explain the procedure in clear, reassuring terms, patiently talking me through what to expect and answering all my questions. Most importantly, she made me feel genuinely listened to and reassured, which made an enormous difference. As a result, I felt calm, informed, and confident going into surgery. In theatre, just before I went under, she spoke to me in a calm, steady voice and talked me through the laryngoscopy step by step. That simple act of kindness made me feel safe, relaxed, and completely confident that I was in the very best hands — which I truly was. Miss Di Marco combines exceptional surgical skill with real compassion and humanity. I am deeply grateful for her care and would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone needing thyroid or parathyroid surgery.

Some unfortunate circumstances meant I had to change surgeons a few weeks before my surgery was booked in. This was quite unsettling and it took me a few times of meeting Dr Agha to feel comfortable. What I realise now is that whilst I was initially put off by his questioning I now realise that this was part of his thorough approach to his work and part of ensuring that I was provided with all the information. Taking so much time to explain the procedure, this risks and uncertainties and asking questions was part of a transparent approach which allowed trust building. Dr Agha changed the plan I had with my original surgeon (fleur de lis) to an extended tummy tuck and I am so happy he did. I am thrilled with the results. My scar is very thin, well placed and I had a very smooth recovery process. I would recommend Dr Agha to anyone wanting a transparent, realistic and honest surgeon who wants the best results achievable for his patients.

The appointment itself was very positive. Dr. Robert Gordon was calm, validating, and genuinely listened. The room was quiet, warm, and set up like a cosy study, which made it feel safe rather than clinical. He explained the diagnostic impressions clearly at the end in a way that finally made sense, and it didn’t feel dismissive. I left feeling understood in a way I haven’t experienced with other services, although the level of positivity felt unexpected and left me a bit uncertain about how to interpret it. The only issue was the arrival process. My appointment was in the late evening, and reception was closed. It wasn’t clear where to check in, and I had no phone signal. I had to rely on Wi-Fi and the website photos to work out where to wait. Overall, despite the initial uncertainty about the building, the clinical experience was extremely positive. Everything went smoothly, and the assessment itself was very professional.

Recent visit was ok. My Nurses could have been better organised. On arrival no one was there to greet me despite being told to be there at 7.30 am I wasn’t told no one could come up and wait with you or be present after my procedure. The room for pre theatre and after theatre was far too small for 3 beds to be in it. It was also flat too hot in the room making me feel worse.. Unprepared for someone feeling unwell after the procedure. I did feel very rushed after my procedure despite feeling unwell! The doctor on shift however was very good. Nurses rushing to finish their shift in theatre to hand me over made me feel uneasy. Nurse looking after me rushing me out the door as it was past 8pm. I was worried about leaving as still felt pretty unwel. Overall was not tailored to my needs Surgeon & anaesthetist very good can’t fault them at all. Made me feel very at ease before my procedure.

I could not rate Dr. Blackburn highly enough. I had multiple consultations with highly rated surgeons, most of whom had larger social media presence, but immediately felt at ease with Dr. Blackburn. He made me feel incredibly confident I was in the right hands with him, both from seeing the results of his work and him being clear he’s a real perfectionist but also because he’s very upfront about realistic results, what is possible, recovery time etc. The whole process from start to finish with him has been a great experience. He’s made it clear he’s only a phone call or message away if any problems arise now I’ve been signed off. I am so pleased with the end result - the surgery has truly been life changing and has had a hugely positive impact on my life. I wish I had done it sooner! Thank you Adam.

Very pleasing experience. I was given plenty of time, and had a thorough examination of my ears, with the removal of wax, followed by a full hearing test. I returned a couple of weeks later, and having been shown several different hearing aids, went for ones that fit into the ear, with no wires or pieces behind the ear. I now have them on a months trial to see how I get on with them. I was quoted a price, which I understand I will pay if these are the correct ones for me, but only when I am totally satisfied. There is then a 3 monthly check included in the price. I believe I can try others if these are not right for me, and Mr Clive who I saw, was most helpful and understanding of a lady who hated the idea of wearing hearing aids!

Dr Sridhar is an amazing, exceptional doctor. He’s very kind and caring to my son. He takes his time to explain things to us, especially to my wife who struggled with English. We don’t feel rushed in appointments and have always put us at ease, especially with all the medication my son has had to take and the surgeries he’s had as a child. His expertise and kindness has made all the difficult times easy for us. During Covid he always made time for us by telephone, when everything was on lock down, which was amazing as our son was immune suppressed and we were worried for him. Dr Sridhar is an outstanding doctor and We are truly grateful, he’s our doctor.

I first met Miss Taylor in December 24 as I was suffering with excruciating gynaecological symptoms. Miss Taylor almost instantly gave me the answers I was hoping for after 4 years of pain and NHS dismal. I had always felt so comfortable with Miss Taylor and felt reassured within her care. Yesterday I had my laparoscopy for Endometriosis and Miss Taylor accommodated me so much as I was extremely nervous and had been putting the surgery off due to nerves. I had received what was probably the best care I’ve ever experienced and I successfully had my endometriosis and adenoymosis answers. I really can’t recommend Miss Taylor enough. Dr Elumalai is extremely kind and patient as well being very responsive when issues arose during treatment. Mr Jarvis was extremely professional and dedicated. He wasted no time in arranging tests and scans to determine the cause of my discomfort. He was very clear and transparent about the treatment I received. I immediately received reports outlining the procedures and their findings which was extremely comforting. This, combined with the constant follow ups from his secretary Victoria, resulted in a prompt diagnosis, enabling me to continue with a previously booked trip abroad. I attended for an orthopaedic assessment of trigger finger and fracture damage to my right hand little finger. The consultation with Mr T was highly professional. The issues were expressed clearly and a prompt indication of possible action and the probable cost were provided. Mr T was a pleasure to deal with., as was the anaesthetist who spoke to me before the operation. The post op consultation was equally professional and informative. I am now half way through the physio programme, which is proving helpful.

After my original consultation with a orthopaedic surgeon at a physiotherapy clinic in Doncaster, he wanted to put me on his list. He said I could have a new knee and be fit for Christmas. I said. I want Mr Haslam to operate on my right knee..I trust him. I haven't had any issues with my left knee. He operated on my friends Son's torn ligamentes. He'll br back playing Rugby again soon. I highly recommend the clinic I had the O shot done about 12 weeks ago for my LS condition which at the time was a very sore and angry I now at present experiencing no symptoms of LS apart from a small patch of white skin.
