My visit to the see the doctor was as should be. I was taken in quite quickly so very little waiting time at all. She checked who I was first and enquired about all my symptoms then she explained with detail about what to expect from the treatment plan. Very pleasant and helpful.

Like many health professionals Miss Phillips was managing a busy day and I was able to be brought in for surgery after an accident the day before, during our pre surgery meeting she explained the plan and possible outcomes, her professionalism gave me complete confidence in achieving the best possible outcome. Post surgery again visit 1 to review the procedure, her team were well organised and prepped so that Miss Phillips could spend the time concentrating on my outcome and setting next steps - again with very clear communication - it was also arranged to have other departments review (Occ Therapist) and put actions in place - second review one week later was exactly the same - the team ensured I was ready for Miss Phillips review - again she was clear about the outcomes, next steps and ensured my post op recovery was understood.

Easy and nice personal

Sally-Anne explained clearly what my condition was, how to treat it and anything I asked regarding the matter. Very professional and polite and took the time that was needed for my assessment. Great job!!

Having fallen and broken my wrist badly at the end of April I was operated on by Miss Phillips who fitted plates to stabilise and repair the damage. She was very kind and sympathetic from the outset and explained how the surgery would help functionality moving forward. The operation went smoothly and casts were fitted and removed as necessary. I met Debbie early on who is the hand therapist working with Miss Phillips and they make an excellent team… the A team! Now the plates have been removed it is over to me to work on the exercises they have recommended so I can recover full movement of my wrist. I cannot thank Miss Phillips enough for all her time and expertise. I’m sure any fracture is a miserable experience but having such wonderful support from the surgical staff, nurses and therapists have made it so much more bearable.
