About Miss Sally-Anne Phillips
Miss Sally-Anne Phillips is a highly experienced consultant trauma and orthopaedic surgeon who specialises in conditions affecting the hands and wrists. When you consult with her, you can be confident that she will listen to your problems, take your concerns seriously, and advise you on the best course of action.
Miss Phillips has always had a keen interest in hand surgery, particularly due to the combination of complex anatomy with finely detailed treatment to improve a patient's overall hand function. She undertakes a wide range of hand surgeries ranging from hand reconstruction following trauma to carpal tunnel release and keyhole management of wrist pain. Her speciall interest lies in sonosurgery, both percutanous carpal tunnel and trigger release surgery under ultrsound and thumb carpal metacarpal joint replacements.
Miss Phillips undertook her medical training at University College London, where she also obtained a BSc (Hons) in the History of Medicine. She completed both her basic surgical and orthopaedic training in Scotland at the Edinburgh Orthopaedic Unit. In 2016, she was selected for the Training Interface Group Hand Fellowship, where she spent a year gaining extensive experience with specialists in Newcastle upon Tyne. She later earned the British Hand Surgery Diploma, awarded by Manchester University for excellence in knowledge and application of hand surgery.
Miss Phillips is also involved in research, and she holds an MD for her work on T lymphocytes. She was the primary investigator for a trial involving patients with Dupuytren's disease.

Miss Phillips is an exceptional consultant and even better surgeon she clearly explains what is required what the pros and cons are and let's you make your own mind up the after care and follow up appointments with miss Phillips were exceptional can not fault miss Phillips in any way I'll highly recommend miss Phillips if I'll need anything in the future I'll be contacting miss Phillips I'll had right thumb fusion done after suffering with arthritis for several years I'll now have no pain and I've got my hand back My score for miss Phillips out of ten is 20+ that's how good she is

Post care following a difficult wrist fracture that required surgery. Extremely happy with my care. I am a Physical Education teacher and Mum of a toddler and was very apprehensive about how my mobility may be impacted post surgery. I have about 95% mobility compared to pre surgery, very little pain and I am back teaching and playing sport fully. I am extremely grateful for the care I received and thankful to all staff involved.
